Цель:  демонстрация технологии (методов, форм, приемов и стратегий) работы, которая используется учителем при формировании умений учащихся задавать вопросы при решении различных коммуникативных задач при подготовке к итоговой аттестации.

Форма: Интегрированное (лекционно-практическое) занятие.

- Good morning, dear colleagues!

- Today we are having a workshop. I’m going to present you my method of teaching students to ask questions.

- It’s a work-shop, not a lesson, so, from time to time, I’ll make comments & we shall discuss.

- Sometimes I’ll speak Russian; it all depends on the stage of the work-shop.

- I’ll be grateful if you work together with me & give your appreciation & comments at the end of the workshop

- I’m sure the skill of asking questions is important for everyone.

- Thank you for your answers. So, this skill is necessary for students while fulfilling examination tasks in Speaking and Writing and, of course, in Every day English.

So, we should know how to teach students in order to avoid difficulties and begin teaching them to write correctly from the very beginning, I mean since the primary school.

- So, first of all, students should get acquaintance with the tasks and secondly with the criterion.

-We are beginning to practice. We know that now, at least, we are dealing with the students who have the basic knowledge. But, first of all, we should revise the types of questions, word order, other grammar rules that you believe are necessary for your students.

-You can use different schemes or tables; it depends on your preferences.

Asking questions practice (Russian State Exam Хотунцева Е.А.) EXAM TIP When reading the task, read carefully what you should ask about. Look back at the input letter, read the last line and decide, what tense/tenses you will need to ask your questions. E.g.: I got a fantastic present for my birthday... You will ask questions about the present which the person got. You wiII need to ask some of the questions using the Past Simple Tense.
