The ABC party

Teacher: Dear children, parents and guests we are glad to see you here/ Today we welcome you at our ABC party. We would like to show today how our children can talk, sing, read and write in English. Our pupils are little children but they can do very difficult tasks.

Children: I am fine,  thank you! And how are you?

Teacher: I am fine thank you! Sit down, please. It was our first school year and we learnt a lot of English words. And we got acquainted with English characters in the book by Nikitenko and by Vereshagina. Now meet the characters: Professor Book, Dorothy and Toto!

Professor Book: Hello, I am Professor Book! I can count 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10!

                             I like English poems! Listen to me!

Now let’s meet the character from a very popular cartoon. She will tell us her story.

Peppa: Hello! I am Peppa! I am a pig.I am seven. I am from Great Britain. I have got a family. I have got a mother, a father and a little brother George. George can play with toys. He can go upstairs.

Teacher: Dear children, stand up, please. Let’s sing the song about Teddy Bear.

Thank you! Now I invite Buratino and Malvina. They are the characters from the book by Vereshagina.

Buratino: Hello! My name is Buratino. I’ve got a father. His name is Papa Carlo. I haven’t got a mother. I haven’t got a grandmother. I haven’t got a grandfather. I haven’t got a sister. I haven’t got a brother.

Malvina: Hello! My name is Malvina! His name is Buratino. Buratino has got a father. His name is Papa Carlo. Buratino hasn’t got a mother. He hasn’t got a grandfather. He hasn’t got a granny. He hasn’t got a sister. He hasn’t got a brother.

Tin Man: Hello! I am the Tin Man .I can walk. I can run. I can clap my hands. I have got a friend. He is a boy. He is Mike. My friend can ride a horse. He likes sweets. He likes airplanes. My friend has got a bird.

Teacher: One more character.

Ksusha: Hello! I am Ksusha! I am a girl. I am seven. I am fine. I like chocolate, lollipops and ice cream. I like to lay the table. Look! I have got many things: a teapot, a teakettle, a pan, a plate, a glass, a cup, a knife, a fork, a spoon, a teaspoon.

One more character  from the book by Nikitenko is Winnie-the-Pooh.

Winnie-the-Pooh: Hello! I am Winnie-the-Pooh. I am seven. I drink tea and milk for breakfast. I eat soup and bread for dinner.

       I like cookies, apple juice and strawberries. I like lollipops, cakes, chocolate and ice cream.

But where is my ice cream? Oh, it’s under the table.

Where is my jam? Oh, it’s on the table.

Where is my cake? It’s behind the chair.

Where is my lollipop? It’s in the table.

Where is my juice? It’s next to the flower.

(Показывает на плакат и называет предлоги места)

Winnie-the-Pooh is under the tree.

Winnie-the-Pooh is on the barrel ( бэрэл) бочка
