Тема урока: Обобщающий урок по теме «Масс-медиа»

Задачи урока:

- обобщить и закрепить знания по теме «Средства массовой информации»

- тренировать навык аудирования

- тренировать навык устной речи до уровня СФЕ

- закрепить умения групповой работы

Средства обучения: ПК, мультимедиа проектор, раздаточный материал: личные карточки ученика, британская газета «The Guardian», конверты с иллюстрациями, клей, ножницы.

Ход урока.

I. Приветствие, орг. момент (2 мин)

Good day, boys and girls, ladies and gentlemen’s! Welcome to our lessons!

Today we will have a very unusual lesson as we’ve got a lot of guests. Let’s greet them first of all. (Good afternoon. How are you?)

At today’s lesson we are going to summarize the topic we were speaking about for a month and to answer the question that was given to us at the beginning of the term.. Who can tell me the topic and the question? (слайд №1) (Mass-media: good or bad?).

That’s the question you are going to answer at the end of the lesson.

First, you’ve got your own personal student’s cards at your desks. Please, write down your names and surnames in them. You will check these cards yourselves, changing them with your partner.  You should tick the correct answers, then sum up the right answers and score your results. Your mark for the lesson will depend on your score.

So, now we are ready to start! Let’s do it right now!

Have we got a radio? (Yes we’ve got a lot of radio stations in Moscow.)

III. Аудирование (5 мин)

Now, you will listen to the English Radio programme of the Radio station “Voice of America” (VOA). You should choose the name of programme.

 This is a real British newspaper. You should determine type of this newspaper.
