Цели:

1. Развитие коммуникативных навыков учащихся.
2. Воспитание культуры общения.

Задачи:

1. Активизировать употребление лексических единиц по теме «Погода», «Одежда», «» в речи учащихся.
2. Автоматизировать употребление настоящего простого и настоящего продолженного времен в речи учащихся.
3. Развивать умения и навыки диалогической и монологической речи учащихся по теме.

1.Организационный момент.

Hello! I’m very glad to see you. Take your seats.

The topic of our lesson is “Weather in our life”. Today we’re going to do exercises with our vocabulary on the topic ”Weather, clothes, activities”. We’re are going to sing and dance? Make dialogues, describe pictures. I hope you’ll enjoy the lesson.

2.Let’s start the lesson with the song “January, February, March…”

3.Now answer the questions:

- What date is it today?

- What season is it?

- What’s the weather like today?

- What’s the weather like in summer(autumn,spring,winter) in Russia?

- What’s your favourite season?

4.Now listen to the music and answer the questions:

- Which place are you at?

- What’s the weather like there?

- How do you feel?

7.Look at the pictures. Say what the weather is like and choose the suitable clothes.

8.Refer the words and word combinations to the four seasons

Now show us your family photos and describe them. Use the plan.

Example: This is my brother and me. We are in the garden. It’s warm. We’re wearing jackets, jeans and boots. We’re planting flowers. We usually plant flowers in spring.

13.Telephone conversation

All of you like holidays and travelling. But it’s always important to know what the weather is like at the place you go. Phone your friend and discuss your staying there.

• Hello, Tom. How are you?
• Hello. I’m fine. And you?
• I’m OK. When are you going to come?
• In two days. But what’s the weather like in London these days? What clothes should I take (wear)?
• Oh, it’s really warm here. I think you should wear a T-shirt, jeans, trainers. But don’t forget to take a jacket and an umbrella. You know the weather is very changeable here.
• OK. Thank you. See you soon.
