My working day

2. Read and translate the text.

My working day begins very early. It’s hard to believe but I get up at 6 o’clock and do my morning exercises. I know that good health is better than wealth. Then I go to the bathroom, to take a shower and brush my teeth. After having a shower I get dressed and brush my hair.

 At a quarter to seven I am ready to have my breakfast. I am in the habit of having a light breakfast which consists of a cup of coffee or tea, a boiled egg, and a cheese sandwich. After breakfast I take my bag and leave for the college. It takes me about one hour to get there.

Our classes start at 8:30. In the middle of the day we have a large break. During this break we go to the canteen. Usually we have 7 lessons a day. Classes are over at two o’clock. Sometimes I stay at college to work in the library.

In the evenings I am busy doing my homework. Sometimes my mother asks me to go shopping or to help her about the house. At about 7 o’clock I have dinner with my family. I usually go to bed at 11 o’clock.
