1. Организационный момент

Good morning, boys and girls. I hope you are fine.

Good morning, dear colleagues. I am glad to see you at the lesson today. I am sure you’ll like it.

2. Постановка целей урока

You know a lot about Great Britain and its people, but some things are easily forgotten.

What is the official name of Great Britain?

Today we’ll remember the geographical position of the UK, the political system, the capital of the country, its places of interest and famous people.

Look at the national coats of arms and say what countries they belong to and what their capitals are.
