план-конспект урока по английскому языку (10 класс)

Цели урока: 1.

1. Образовательные:

- обобщить  и систематизировать знания лексического и грамматического материала по изучаемой теме;

- научить применять полученные знания и умения в коммуникативных упражнениях то есть совершенствовать речевые компетенции  обучающихся в трёх её  видах: фонетической, грамматической и лексической.

 2. Развивающие:

- формировать и развивать логическое мышление и последовательность изложения мысли на английском языке.

3. Воспитательные: формирование положительной мотивации и интереса к изучаемому предмету, интереса к познанию  культурных ценностей страны изучаемого языка, эстетического вкуса.

Методическая цель урока:  активизация коммуникативной деятельности на основе имеющихся опорных знаний и выработка  методики применения ИКТ 

Тип урока: повторительно- обобщающий, комплексное применение знаний

                     по изученной теме.

Межпредметные связи:   русский язык : страдательный залог

Оборудование: компьютер, проектор ,экран, карточки для работы учащихся в группах.

Уровень усвоения: 2- репродуктивный

                                    План урока

1. Орг. момент:

а) Проверка готовности  обучающихся к уроку;

б) сообщение темы и целей урока;

в) перестройка органов речи для артикуляции английских звуков с помощью фонетических упражнений.

2. Актуализация опорных  ( имеющихся) знаний ;

- устный опрос;

- проверка домашнего задания:

1). Лексика по изученной теме.

2). Сообщения учащихся по теме: «Празднование дня Св. Валентина»:

       - из истории праздника;

       - символы праздника;

       - традиции празднования дня Св. Валентина учащимися Великобритании.

3). Чтение четверостиший наизусть с литературными переводами на русский

      язык.

3. Итоги урока:

- выводы по теме урока;

- сообщение оценок и поощрений  в виде сертификатов за хорошие  знания по теме: « Праздники и традиции страны , изучаемого языка»

4. Домашнее задание:

- Прочитать текст: « Traditions and holidays in our country”,

 - Сделать краткие сообщения по содержанию текста.

- Составить диалог: « My favourite  holiday” (  «Мой любимый праздник»)

                                   Ход урока

1. Организационный момент:-

- приветствие учителя;

- проверка наличия учащихся на уроке и их готовность к  уроку, уточнение числа, дня недели и времени года на английском языке.

- фонетические упражнения: I’ calm, I’m fine, I’m nice, I’m handsome, I’m ready for the lesson.( Активно произносим слова следующего упражнения). Which is this switch which switch is which.

 - Сообщение темы и целей урока введение в сюжет урока. At the today’s lesson we’ll sum up everything that you know about customs and traditions of celebrating St. Valentine’s Day. This happy  holiday celebrates friendship, love and romance. It’s a time to tell all those  special people in your life know how much you like them. This is what friendship is all about. And you can probably think of others who are important to you Moms and Dads, Grandparents, sisters, brothers, friends and teachers. Valentine’s Day is good time to tell them how you feel.

4.  Now I think it’s time to tell some words about the history this holiday.

1-st pupil   - Different authorities believe Valentine’s Day began in various ways.

                        Some trace it to  an ancient Roman festival called Lupercalia.

                         Other experts connect the event with one or more saints of the                            

                          early Christian church. Still other links it with an old English belief

                         that birds choose their mates on February 14. Valentine’s Day

                         probably came from a combination of all three of those sources-

                         -plus the belief that spring is a time for lovers.

2-d pupil:    The early Christian church had at least two saints named Valentine

                       According to one story ‘ the Roman Emperor Claudis 2-d in the A.D.

                        200’s forbade young men to merry. The emperor  thought single

                        men made better soldiers. A priest named Valentine disobeyed the         emperor’s order and secretly married young couples.

But Valentine was discovered and condemned to death

The third: Another legend says Saint Valentine was a good friend of children.

He was a Christian. He would not  worship the Roman gods. That’s why he was put into the prison. While he was there the children that he had  befriended missed him  and brought him loving notes. Even in prison Valentine showed his love for everyone. His jailer had a young daughter who was blind.  Valentine performed a miracle. He cured the jailer’s daughter of her blindness. Just before his death on February 14, he  sent a farewell letter” From your Valentine”.

 The first:  May be that’s why we exchange friendly caring messages on this day. And throughout the ages it is a day when boys and girls, sweethearts and lovers, husbands and wives, friends and neighbours, and even office staff exchange greetings of friendship, affection and undying love.

5.)Teacher: Now I want you to discuss symbols of this holiday. Who wants to tell  some words about it?

 Pupil: It seems to me that the earliest popular symbol of the day was Cupid with his bow and arrow. It  comes back to Romans too. Cupid was the son of a beautiful Goddess Venus. Wherever Venus went Cupid went too. He was a merry little guy and liked to see people happy. Cupid went around shooting gold-tipped arrows into the hearts of humans. As soon as the arrow hit them they fell in love .

The first: Of course, there are many symbols  on Valentine Cards. And each has its special meaning. A fan shows that you open your heart to a person you love. A ribbon shows that you want to be tied to another special person . A ring is a symbol of love and binding to another person. When a man gives a ring to a women they are engaged.

The second: AS for me, I know that that lace shows that you want a special person to be caught in the net of your heart. A red mitten is a sign that you don’t like someone. So when a person gives you a red mitten he says” I don’t like you”. A coin shows you will marry a wealthy person. So if someone gives you a coin he or she is wishing you to be wealthy.

Teacher: Now we shall discuss traditions of celebrating holiday in some countries.

                  Who wants to be the first?

Pupil: I know that in the United States  and Canada children exchange valentines with their friends, hold a classroom party and put all the valentines into the box they have decorated.  They dance, make candy baskets, gifts. Many people send flowers, gifts tied with red ribbon.

Teacher: Thank you! Who wants to add?

 Pupil:   I know that in Europe people celebrate Valentine’s Day in many ways. The pupils sing songs , receive gifts of candy, fruit  or money.  In some areas of England people bake valentine buns with caraway seeds, plums or raisins.

The second: And for Britain and Italy, some unmarried women get up before sunrise , they stand by the window watching for a man to pass. They believe that the first man they see, or someone who looks like him, will marry them within a year.

 The third: In Denmark people send pressed white flowers called snowdrops to their friends. Danish man also send joking letters . The senders writes  a rhymes but does not sing his name.

The fourth: I want to tell  you how girls like to make fortune on this holyday:

                     They take an apple , cut it, take out the seeds and count them:

One- I love,                                              Eight- they both love,

Two-I love,                                                 Nine- he comes,

Three- I love , I say                                    Ten he tarries,

 Four- I love with all my heart,                Eleven- he courts,

  Five-I cast away,                                       Twelve- he marries.                                                                                          

Six- he loves,

Seven- she loves,

6.) Teacher: It’s very interesting. It seems to me that it is time to have a little competition of reciting the rhymes.

Pupil:  I want to begin :

                You are my sunshine

                My only sunshine.

                 You make me happy when skies are gray.

                  You’ll never know, dear,

                   How much I love you,

                  Please don’t take my sunshine away.

Pupil: May you answer ,”yes”, my heart

           And no longer keep us apart

           Remember I love you, dear Valentine

            You must be mine as I am thine.

Pupil:  You’d make the nicest Valentine

             That there could be ever be!

              And so I am asking:

              “ Pretty, please, be Valentine with me?”

Pupil:  I choose you from

             Among the rest

              The reason is I love you best.

                Happiness is never far behind

                When thoughts of you come into my mind!

Sending a basket of valentine wishes

 Filled with lots of love and kisses!

7). Teacher: Now We’ll see who has made  Valentine cards

  by yourself  more interesting .  (Учащиеся рассматривают валентинки, сделанные руками учащихся ,читают на них надписи , переводят на русский язык, выбирают лучшие по оформлению , определяют у кого  красивее и интереснее.)
