Тип урока:  Нетрадиционный урок (изучение английского языка на основе песенного материала в рамках декады английского языка).

Тема урока:  Молодежная музыка и мода.

Цель: развитие иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции по теме.

Задачи:

•  формировать лексические навыки; формировать навыки аудирования;

• приобщить к мировому культурному наследию (музыкальному);

•  развить внимание, память, мышление, способность к догадке, слухо-произносительные навыки; коммуникативное и социокультурное развитие;

• формировать умение работать индивидуально, в парах, коллективно.

Оснащение: MP3 проигрыватель, распечатки, доклад, доска.

ХОД УРОКА

1.        Организационный момент. Введение в атмосферу иноязычного общения.

Цели урока.

- Good morning ladies, boys and girls. Glad to see you today. So very soon we’ll have an unusual lesson: we are going to learn one of the most popular songs all over the world. But first of all, please, answer my questions:

1.        Did you watch 2009 Eurovision Song Contest on TV?

2.        Do you know who won this contest?

3.        What do you know about the winner?

4.        Where is he from? When was he born?

5.        What songs has he composed?

2. Дотекстовый этап. Some information about the singer.

- Now N. will present you his/her report about Alexander Rybak. Please listen very attentively and  add some more facts about the singer.

- So, what new facts about the winner can you name?

4.        Make-up definitions:        (work in pairs)

•        fairy-tale (a story about life with imaginary heroes, with happy end, usually written for children)

6. Match the words in list A with the words in list В (and translate):

7. Pay attention to the following:

a) Make the second form of the verbs: be, like, know, start, fall, can.

b) Form the degrees of comparison of the following adjectives: sad, young.

c) Explain the use of pronoun mine: She was mine. (She was my girl-friend).

d) Fill in the missing pronouns: (распечатки)

8. Listen to the song “Fairytale” (try to sing the song) and answer the question: 

Is the main character happy or sad? Why is he sad? What had happened to them?

9. Find the suitable words in the song to speak about the problem of the main character (Work in groups).

10. Answer the questions:

1 .Have you ever experienced the same problems in your life?

2. Express your attitude to the song.

11. Sing the song again.
