Урок в 8 классе по теме «My future profession»

Цель: закрепить полученные знания по теме «Профессии».

Задачи:

1. Активизация изученной лексики;

2. Выполнение грамматических упражнений по теме «Профессии»

3 Формирование навыков говорения на тему «My future profession»

4. Формирование восприятия английской лексики на слух.

Ход урока:

1. Вступление

Teacher: Good morning, dear pupils!

Pupils: Good morning, dear teacher!

Teacher: Sit down, please! Answer my questions, please:

- What day is it today?

Pupils: Today is ….

Teacher: - What date is it today?

Pupils: Today is ….

Teacher: - What the weather is it today?

Pupils: Today is ….

Teacher: OK! Let’s start our lesson! Today we’re going to speak about professions and what do you want to be in the future. We’ll practice our skills in speaking, reading, listening and writing. I WISH YOU TO WORK WELL!

2. Основная часть (на экране презентация на тему «Профессии»)

Teacher: Now looking at the screen, please. Name and write words on the theme in your notebooks.

(Pupils write: a kindergartener, a farmer, a fireman, a painter, an electrician, a hairdresser, a postman, a vet, a gardener, a secretary, a designer, a sailor, a mechanic, a taxi driver, a photographer, a teacher, a pilot, a waitress, a dentist, a doctor, a policeman, a soldier, a chef, a journalist, a musician)

Teacher: Are you ready? Let’s check!

Teacher: Next you need unscramble the words. (Предпоследний слайд)

(heecatr, corotd, refmar, marnfie, aeresctyr, tdeints, rgaedren, ersodli. Правильно составленные слова: teacher, doctor, farmer, fireman, secretary, dentist, gardener, soldier).

Teacher: Are you ready? Let’s check!

Teacher: I think we should talk about yours future professions. Well, who do you want to be and why? Please,…

(Примерные ответы учеников и реакция на них учителя)

Pupil 1: I want to be a doctor. Because I want to help people and I think this profession is very useful in nowadays.

Teacher: Oh, I’m agree with you. Doctors  are very important for us.

Pupil 2: I want to be a teacher. Because I like children and I think it’s mine. Also I like studying Mathematics, so I want to be a Math’s teacher.

Teacher: Well, I understand you, because when I was a fourteen, I dreamed about this profession. I’ve always wanted to be a teacher.

Pupil 3: I want to be a chef, because I like cooking. And my mother is chef, too. She’s a good example for me.

Teacher: Good! Your mother cooks very tasty! I think this profession suit you.

Pupil 4: I want to be a kindergartener. Because I like children and I like spending time with them. I’m often a babysitter.

Teacher: Children are great happiness.  And I think this job is for you.

Pupil 5: I want to be a designer. I think I draw really cool and I want to create something beautiful.

Teacher: Oh. It’s very interesting! I’ve seen your pictures, they are very amazing. You’re clever girl!

Pupil 6: I want to be a mechanic. Because I like cars and I like fixing them.

Teacher: Good! I think mechanic is very popular now.

Teacher: And now we have exercises!

- Look left, Look right,

Look up, Look down,

Look around.

Look at your nose,

Look at that rose.

Close your eyes,

Open, wink and smile.

Your eyes are happy again!

Teacher: Great! And stand up, please. The second exercise will do!

- Hands up!

Hands down!

Hands on hips! Sit down!
Stand up!

Hands up! To the sides!
Bend left, Bend right!

One, two, three! Hop!

One, two, three! Stop!

Stand still!

Teacher: Now we’re watching film about people and their professions. And after we’ll answer my questions: What questions did the reporter ask? What professions have you heard and seen?

Pupil 1: What do you do for a living?

Teacher: Good. What else?

Pupil 2: Is that your dream job?

Teacher: Great! What else?

Pupil 3: What’s your dream job? (Примерный вопрос, который дети могут запомнить)

Teacher: The next question is - What professions have you heard and seen?

Pupils: a customer service, a nurse, a pilot, hairdresser, a chef, a project manager, a football player, a lawyer, an explorer, a park ranger, a vet, a tour guide, a bartender, a teacher, a journalist.

Teacher: You’re clever pupils! Let’s continue! Looking at the screen again, please! You have jobs in the second column and their description in the first column. Relate the professions!

Teacher: Are you ready? Let’s check! What does a …do? (Профессии: a mechanic, a doctor, a chef, a vet, a teacher, a policeman, a designer, a  kindergartener, a pilot).

Teacher: That’s right!

3.Заключение

Teacher: In this lesson we remember vocabulary about professions, watched film, did independent work and talked about your future job.

Teacher: Now, open your diary and write your homework. You need make sentences with this jobs and descriptions and translate them. Do you understand me?

Pupils: Yes! We don’t have any questions.

Teacher: In this lesson we all got mark «excellent»!

Teacher: I’m glad. Thanks for your consideration. Good luck! See you on…. (День недели).
