Snow White and Seven Dwarfs

SCENE 1

Author: One winter day, many years ago, a Queen had a baby girl. 

The Good Queen: I’m the Queen.

The King: I’m the King.

The Queen: We have a daughter. This is lovely little Princess .

King: Her hair is black.

Queen: Her lips are red.

King: Her skin is white.

Queen: Let’ call her Snow-white.

Author: Look how happy they are!

Author: But one day the Queen got ill and died.

King: Oh, Dear, Dear. My poor baby should have a mother.

SCENE 2

The Wicked Queen: I’m the Queen. A Baby? Oh, no. All these problems are not for me. I’m the prettiest in the world. Don’t you believe me? Look!

Mirror, mirror on the wall,

Who is the most beautiful of all?

Mirror:

You, who hold me in your hand,

You are the most beautiful  in the land.

SCENE 3

Author: Look at this young girl! She is Snow-white. She has grown up. She’s pretty, wonderful and warm-hearted.

The Wicked Queen:

Mirror, mirror on the wall,

Who is the most beautiful of all?

Mirror:

You, who hold me in your hand,

You were the most beautiful in the land;

You, my queen, are pretty, it’s true.

But Snow White is prettier than you.”

Queen: Dirty glass! I’ll break you into pieces! Oh, Snow White, how I hate you!

You won’t live in the palace any more! Go to the forest and let wild animals kill you!

SCENE 4

Author: Look! Snow-white is alone in the forest. She’s afraid. She’s crying.

Snow-white: What shall I do? I must go to the forest. Nobody can help me. How unhappy I am!

Snow White:

Oh, how it is dark here and nobody around! What shall I do? Where shall I sleep when night comes? (sees a lovely cottage.) 

Author: Snow-white sees a lovely cottage house.

Oh, what a nice little cottage! It looks like a toy.

Who lives there?  Is anybody here? May I come in? Oh, dust is everywhere! The plates are dirty. I must clean everything here. (Cleans the table.) Oh, I’m terribly tired

The seven little dwarves come home from work and see Snow-White.

SCENE 5

7 DWARFS /adressing each other/: “Who can she be?”

The 1st DWARF: ”Who are you, little girl?'

The 2nd DWARF: ”Where are you from?'

The 3d DWARF: ”How did you get there?”

The 4th DWARF: ”Why are you so sad?”

The 5th DWARF : ”Can we help you?”

The 6th DWARF : ”Who has made you unhappy?”

The 7th DWARF : ”What can we do for you?”

SNOW-WHITE:”I am Princess Snow-White. Queen, my step-mother wanted to kill me. And here am I. Let me stay with you, kind little dwarves!”

6 DWARFS: Yes, sure! Stay with us!

The Girl DWARF: Perfect! You’ll be my sister!

The author: And seven dwarfs tell Snow-white how hospitable and friendly they are.

The 1st and the 2nd DWARFS:

“ Look at us, we’re washing the clothes,

Washing the clothes, washing the clothes.

Look at us, we’re washing the clothes,

Like this, and this and this.”

The 3rd and 4th DWARFS:

“ Look at us, we’re cleaning the floor,

Cleaning the floor, cleaning the floor.

Look at us, we’re cleaning the floor

Like this, and this and this.”

The GIRL DWARF:

“ Look at me, I'm cleaning the table,

Cleaning the table, cleaning the table.

Look at me, I'm cleaning the table,

Like this, and this and this.”

The 6th DWARF and The 7th DWARF:

“Look at us, we're making the beds,

Making the beds, making the beds.

Look at us, we're making the beds,

Like this, and this and this.”

The 1st and the 2nd DWARFS:

“ Look at her, she is cooking the dinner,

Cooking the dinner, cooking the dinner.

Look at her, she is cooking the dinner,

Like this, and this and this.”

The author: Snow-white and seven dwarfs began living together and became friends. But at the same time at the King’s palace….

SCENE 6

The queen is in her Magic room in front of the mirror.

THE QUEEN:

 “Mirror, mirror on the wall,

who is the most beautiful of us all?”

THE MIRROR:

You, who hold me in your hand,

You were the most beautiful  in the land;

You, my queen, are pretty, it’s true.

But Snow White is prettier than you.”

The queen: /In rage/

Oh, It’s terrible! Now, you Master of the Evil, help me! Help me! Help me! Now I’ve got a poisoned apple.

/The Queen makes a poisoned apple, disguises herself as an old countrywoman

and hurries to the cottage/.

Author: Have you seen that? The Queen has a poisoned apple. She wants to poison Snow-white.

SCENE 7

/The Queen dressed as an old woman appears in front  of the cottage. Snow-white comes out to greet her./

Author: Who’s there? This old lady is the Queen. What is she doing here?

Queen: It’s boiling hot today! Give me some water, my child.

/Snow-white gives her some water./

Queen: To thank you take this sweet apple.

/Snow-white takes the apple, bites it and falls down on the bench./

Queen: Now I’m the most beautiful of all!

The Queen laughs and goes away./

SCENE 8

/Seven dwarfs come back home. They see Snow-white lying on the bench./

The author: Seven dwarfs come back home. They see Snow-white lying on the bench.

The Girl Dwarf: She doesn’t look like a dead person.

The 3rd Dwarf: Her lips are red, her skin is white.

The 5th Dwarf: Нer hair is nice as before.

/St. Valentine comes up the stage./

St. Valentine: Stop! Stop! Stop! Do you know who I am? I’m St Valentine! Snow-white! I’m giving you my heart! Take it! Be alive!

/Snow-white gets up. She smiles./

7 dwarfs: She is alive. She is alive!

Snow-white: How happy I am. I have so many friends and a sister!

Everybody: This is happy end!!!
