The teacher greets the students.

The students greet the teacher.

Students repeat the tongue-twister and revise the rules of articulation for the [k] sound.

T shows class a striking food image such as a very tall sandwich or an elaborately decorated cake and asks them what they think of it. Learners can comment on whether it looks tasty, horrible and so on, and any elements they don’t like. T asks class, what they eat for lunch and discuss it with the student.

The students set the goal of the lesson with the help of the teacher.

T asks class, ‘Are all foods healthy? Look at this plates. What do  they show us?’

The teacher offers to do a worksheet where student should choose a healthy lunch. Then they swap their sheets to check their answers.

T show student different types of food (protein, fats, carbohydrates). Talk about creating balanced meals by having food from each food group

After that T ask  students to prepare their healthy lunch - draw pictures on the plates. Ask  students to share their ideas on healthy lunch in pairs.

Learners look at the pictures then answer.
