Конспект урока для 7 класса по теме « Новости».

УМК: Английский в фокусе. 7 класс: учеб. для общеобразоват. организаций/ Ю.Е. Ваулина, Д. Дули, 2015

Тема урока: Новости. Прошедшее Длительное время.

Цель: развитие речевых умений по теме

Тип урока : комбинированный

Задачи:

Личностные:

- воспитывать интерес, внимание и любознательность к окружающему миру.

Метапредметные:

- развивать умения в использовании фоновых знаний для прогнозирования содержания текста.

-  развивать умения монологической речи на основе прочитанного текста.

Предметные: 

- Повторить изученные ранее и  усвоить во всех видах речевой деятельности новые лексические единицы

-  Практиковать в использовании грамматического времени Past Continuous.

Планируемый результат:

  1. Предметные

-умение в устной речи употреблять лексические единицы

-умение употреблять грамматические структуры

  1. Метапредметные

- расширение кругозора школьника

  1. Коммуникативные

-использовать речевые средства в соответствии с ситуацией

Оборудование: УМК, презентация, проектор, аудио приложение, раздаточный материал.

Конспект урока

1.Организационный момент.

Речевая разминка. Фонетическая разминка(2 минуты).

Teacher: Good morning, pupils. I am glad to see you. How are you?

P1: Fine and you?

Teacher: I’m fine, thanks. What date is it today?

P1: Today is 24th of November.

Teacher: What day of the week is it today?

P2: Today is Monday.

Teacher: Let’s start our lesson with phonetic. Look at the blackboard. Repeat, please.(слайд №2)

Целеполагание. Мотивация.(5 минуты).

Teacher: We’ve an interesting lesson today. Now, let’s find out what our lesson will be about. Look at the screen (слайд№3)

P1: We are going to speak about mass media and news.

P2: I think we’ll speak about news

Teacher: Yes. You are right. Today we are going to learn some new words, to read the text about news and media. We are going to learn Past Continuous and do exercises.(слайд №3).The aim of the lesson is to learn more about media and Past Continuous.

Teacher: Now, look at the screen and choose some aims of the lessons for yourself (слайд № 4)

P1: I want to learn new words and to use words in my speech

P2: I would like to use Past Continuous in my speech.

2. Основная часть

Введение нового грамматического материала  урока (7 минут)

Teacher: So, let’s start with grammar. Look at the screen. (Слайд №6-8). When do we use Past Continuous?

P1: We use it when we’ve an action in progress at a specific time in the past.

P2: We use it when we’ve an action in progress when another action interrupted it.

P3: We use it when we’ve some actions in progress that were happening at the same time.

Teacher: Good. What time expressions do we use with Past Continuous?

P4: We use when, while, all day, as, yesterday at 6 o’clock, all morning.

Teacher: Good. How can we form this tense? Read, please.

P1: He was watching TV at 6 o’clock yesterday evening.

P2: Was Tim reading the newspaper at 7 o’clock?

P3: She wasn’t sleeping at 8 o’clock in the morning.

Teacher: Now you know how to use and to form Past Continuous. Let’s do exercise 1 page 36. You can see some photos here. So, what was each person doing at 6 o’clock yesterday? What type of media was each person using? You should use Past Continuous.

P1: John was reading a text message on his mobile at 6 o’clock yesterday.

P2: Sue was watching TV at 6 o’clock yesterday.

P3: Tony was reading a newspaper at 6 o’clock yesterday.

P4:  Mary was reading a magazine at 6 o’clock yesterday.

P5: Laura was sending emails at 6 o’clock yesterday.

Введение новой лексики ( 5 минут).

Teacher: Ok. You see each person was using different types of media.  What does each type of media provide us with? Look at the screen (слайд №9).We’ve some new words here. Repeat, please.( учащиеся повторяют).

Pupils: local news, national news, chat shows, interesting articles

Teacher: Good. Use the new words to answer the question. What does each type of media provide us with?

P1: The radio provides us with news, weather reports, and interviews

P2: The TV provides us with news, interviews, local and international news, music, fashion advices, advertisement.

P3: The internet provides us with news, TV guide, interviews, daily horoscopes, advertisement, and celebrity gossip.

P4: The newspapers provide us with daily horoscopes, national and international news.

P5: The magazine provides us with celebrity gossip, daily horoscopes.

Первичное закрепление новой лексики. Работа с текстом.(10 минут).

Teacher: Excellent. Now you knew some new words. So, let’s work with the text page 36 exercises 3. Look at the layout and the titles of the texts. Where could you see them?

P1: The title of the text A I could see in the internet.

P2: I think text B is from a newspaper or a magazine.

P3: The title of the text C I could see in the newspaper.

P4: I think text D is a text message.

Teacher: Let’s check your answers. Listen and read. (учащиеся слушают аудио и следят по тексту).

Teacher: Which text is about a brave pet?

P1: Text C is about a brave pet.

Teacher: Which text is about an amazing success?

P2: Text D is about an amazing success.

Teacher: Which text is about an unwanted visitor?

P3: Text A is about an unwanted visitor.

Teacher: Which text is about a beast and a brave man?

P4: Text A is about a beast and a brave man.

Teacher: Good. I see you understood these texts well. Now let’s explain the words in bold.

P1: nursery rhyme is child’s poem

P2: porridge is a meal

P3: Eventually means finally

P4: run off means leave quickly

P5: bravely means do something without fear

P6: beast means a wild animal

P7: safety means a place where you feel safe

P8: recovering means getting better

P9: break a record means do something better than before

Teacher: Good. Look at the screen and check your answers. (слайд №10).

Первичное закрепление нового грамматического материала.(10 минут)

Teacher: Look at the screen. Use these ideas to ask and answer questions, using Past Continuous (слайд №11).

P1: Was Laura reading the newspaper at 6 o’clock?

P2: No, she wasn’t. She was sending emails.

P3: Was John reading magazine at 6 o’clock?

P4: No, he wasn’t. He was sending text messages on his mobile.

P5: Was Sue sending text messages on her mobile at 6 o’clock?

P6: No, she wasn’t. Sue was watching TV.

P7: Was Tony sending emails at 6 o’clock?

P8: No, he wasn’t. He was reading the newspaper.

P9: Was Mary watching TV at 6 o’clock?

P10: No, she wasn’t. She was reading magazine

Teacher: Now ask and answer question about what you were doing last Saturday at 7 p.m. Act small dialogues.

P1: What were you doing last Saturday at 7 p.m.?

P2: I was reading a book. What were you doing last Saturday at 7 p.m.?

P1: I was sleeping.

Teacher: I see you know new words and grammar. So, your home task is exercise 8 page 37. You should write a story that happened in your area last week. Or make notes under the headings: what, who, when, where. Then use your notes to tell the class what each item is about.

Рефлексия. Подведение итогов урока.(4 минуты).
