Introduction

The years of the Great Patriotic War go back to  the past.There are fewer  and   living witnesses of heroic deeds among us who can convey to the younger generation  the  bitter and terrible truth about the war, about soldiers and their feats.

  Time has its own memory-history.Therefore,the world never forgets about the tragedies that shook the country in different eras.The theme of war remains the main and especially important one in your time.Our soldiers traveled a difficult road during the war,but it was doubly difficult for women who shared the  heavy military burden shoulder to shoulder with men.With the beginning of the SMO,the inhabitants of our large country have more things to do.The women united to become a support and support not only for their loved ones,but also for our fighters and the whole of Russia They fight alongside the men-and carry the wounded out from under fire They help military families and boldly work in new territories In my work,I want to tell you how girls,women and mothers stood up to defend Donbass and the ‘’fields’’of the special operation in Ukraine Despite their fragility ,they serve with dignity in the ranks of the Russian army. The relevance of the work lies in the fact  that the memory of those who fought and are fighting so that we can live in peace must remain unchanged.

The relevance of the research is due to the desire to learn more about the role of women in the war,about the heroes of the war veterans of our time

The purpose of my research is to study the role of women in the war using the example of Lyudmila Bolila

To achieve this goal,the following tasks were defined:

-to show  the heroism of Russian women in a special Military Operation zone ;

-to show examples of military and labor valor of our women.

-to draw conclusions about the role of women in SMO.

Biography  of Lyudmila Bolilaya

Today I want to tell you about Lyudmila Boliloy ,a serviceman of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation ,a corporal,a nurse of a motorized rifle unit.Lyudmila Vyacheslavovna

Bolilaya was born in November 18,1985 in the city Petrovsk ,Saratov region ,and graduated from a medical school in Petrovsk .Until 2019,she was a paramedic in the ambulance service in the Saratov City Medical Aid Station.Then,until 2023,she worked at the Stupinskaya substation of the Moscow Regional Ambulance Station.

First business trip.

    Lyudmila Bolilaya signed a contract in 2023,after which she was enlisted in the 231st separate medical battalion of the 3rd Motorized Rifle Vistula Red Banner Order of Suvorov and Kutuzov division.In January 2025,the corporal was transferred by a nurse to the medical center of the 1220th Motorized Rifle regiment of the same division.

Heroic deed

 During the fighting in the Kursk region,Lyudmila Bolilaya was in hiding.The corporal got to the surface and,under enemy fire, began providing emergency medical care to the wounded and preparing them for further evacuation.During the ongoing shelling ,including on personnel from the evacuation group,Lyudmila remained to fulfill her medical duty,providing assistance to a seriously wounded serviceman.Covering him with herself ,she took all the striking elements and fragments upon herself,saving the life of the serviceman.From Lyudmila s story:’’The fragments come in hot and do not give a thrill.There was a buzzing in my ears ,a darkening in my eyes.I already realized that my stomach was leaking.When it was over,they lay in silence ,and trees began to fall from above,as well as shrapnel.I thought that I still needed a piece of wood.Then we were evacuated to the hospital...’’The guy,along with the girl who was losing consciousness from pain,were picked up by other doctors and carried out from under the blow.The corporal received numerous wounds and was taken to the medical and sanitary battalion,and then to the Central Military Clinical Hospital named after A.A.Vishnevsky.She was undergoing long-term treatment at a medical facility.

High reward

 For her courage and heroism in the performance of military duty in 2025 ,Lyudmila was awarded the highest award-Hero of Russian Federation.She became the second girl to receive the Golden Star of the Hero of Russia. When presenting the award,the President emphasized the importance of the feat of the defenders of the Fatherland:’’The tradition of honoring outstanding citizens is evidenceof public recognition of your talent,work,and creative achievements.Our military exploits in the name of freedom,independence and the future of Russia also arouse pride and gratitude ,’’Putin said.And the head of the Stupino city district ,Sergei Muzhalskikh ,congratulated  the compatriot on his Telegram channel:’’Our nurse Lyudmila Bolilaya ,who covered the fighter with herself during the shelling,was awarded the Golden Star of the hero of Russia.She is the first woman to receive this award during her career.Congratulations from the bottom of my heart!’’After recovery,Lyudmila plans to return to he military base and continue her service. Lyudmila is a finalist in the second season of the Leaders of Russia contest.Politics.In December 2025,she was elected to the Regional Political Council of the United Russia Party.

Returning  home

Lyudmila is currently recovering from her injuries ,lives at home ,and takes care of her seven-year –old son,Vanya.Despite her return to a peaceful life,the memory of her experiences remains with he forever.And the words of gratitude of the rescued fighter ,in addition to the high stare award ,became for Lyudmila the most important proof that her act was necessary.Today,when she passes by the memorials of the Great Patriotic War,tears come to her eyes.She says that she feels as if she has joined the ranks of those  who used to defend their homeland.’’It’s really hard.Memories flash before my eyes.To the point of trembling,”the medic admitted. “I did what I had to do.We will definitely win.We won’t let them go any further.They will not reach and will not pass.Because we are winners,”she said in an  interview  regions.ru.

Conclusion

A woman at war is a challenge to war itself,proof that life is always stronger than death.In trenches and dugouts ,where death walks nearby,women’s hands create a miracle of life.Yesterday’s students,young mothers and daughters are becoming  frontline angels today.They don’t wear wings on their backs,they carry heavy backpacks with medical supplies.Their main weapon is not a machine gun,but the ability to stop the blood and say in time:”Be patient,dear,everything will be fine.”
