Ход игры

I. Организационный момент.

Учащиеся входят в класс с приветствиями “Merry Christmas!”

Teacher: 

You are welcome. Take your seats please.

II. Начало.

Звучит фрагмент песни Bony M “Mary’s boy-child”.

Teatcher: Christmas is a favourite holiday in many countries. All children like it. And you? (обращается к учащимся): Do you like it? What do you know about Christmas?

Учащиеся:

Teacher: Today we will celebrate Christmas. That is why we are here now.

These kids are a Santa Clause team. Their Captain is ______. And these children are a Snowman team. Their Captain is ______.

CHRISTMAS DAY

Рождество 25 декабря - самый волнующий день в году для английских детей. В этот день они получают подарки и дарят подарки и рождественские открытки своим родителям и друзьям.

III. Основная часть — игра.

Teacher: Try to do your best. Be careful and helpful. Let’s start!

Ведущий приглашает игроков, начиная с капитанов, раскрутить волчок и прочитать задание.

-Please, come here and move the top. Read the task aloud.

(После выполнения каждого задания подводится итог):

-Both teams were great. They are getting 2 points each.

-This time the “__” were better. They are getting 2 points. The “___” are getting 1 point.

-This time both teams were not bad. They are getting 1 point each.

-The “__” have broken the rule of the game. They were too noisy. They are losing a point.

- The “___” haven’t done the task. They are not getting any point.

Учитель напоминает о времени выполнения задания, объявляет об истечении срока, просит предоставить или продемонстрировать выполненное задание, если нужно, призывает к порядку:

-You have 1 minute.

-Try to do your best.

-Be silent.

-Don’t waste your time.

-The time is up.

-Present your work.

- У тебя есть 1 минута.

-Попробуй сделать все возможное.

-Молчи.

-Не трать свое время.

Время истекло.

-Представьте свою работу.

Find the Snowman \ Find the reindeer

Дети встают в круг и по считалке выбирают водящего Санта Клауса. Санта надевает колпак и выходит за дверь. Дети назначают затейника- Снеговика\ Оленя.

Задача затейника начинать различные движения за спиной вошедшего по сигналу Санта так, чтобы тот не заметил кто меняет движения. Задача участников игры — повторять движения за затейником. Санта ходит по кругу, пытаясь угадать затейника. Когда угадывает — затейник становится Санта Клаусом и игра продолжается.

IY. Заключительная часть

Подведение итогов.

Teacher: The game is over. Now we will see who the winner is.

(Учитель подходит к каждой команде и вместе с игроками хором подсчитывают количество полученных фишек)

Учитель обращается к команде-победителю и вручает приз: It was a pleasure to watch your game. You are the winners. Congratulations! This is your prize. (Вручается приз)

Затем обращается к другой команде: You are not the winners but you did your best. This is a prize for your good job. (Вручается приз)

Teacher: Christmas is time for receiving and giving gifts. What presents have you made for Christmas?

Pupils:

-I have made a nice Christmas card. I will give it to my mum

-I will give my card to my granny. She will be happy.

-I will give my card to my friend.

Включается запись песни “Mary’s boy child”, под которую участники со словами “Merry Christmas!” уходят из класса.

Santa Clause  puts presents into them. In the morning they usually find their stockings filled with small toys and sweets.

     On Christmas  people  light candles and children in the family often have Christmas crackers. When you pull a cracker it makes a bang and inside there is usually a Christmas hat, a small toy and a piece of paper with a joke on it.

     Then comes lunch, traditionally with the turkey as the main dish and Christmas pudding for dessert. Children often put a coin  into the pudding. It brings good  luck to a person who finds it.

     Before Christmas people place the evergreen tree (Christmas tree) in their

homes. Children decorate the Christmas tree with bells, toys, shining balls and

flags.

     The whole family tries to come together on Christmas Day to say "Merry Christmas" to each other.
