Тема урока: Let's Discuss Animals' Problems.

Цель: Актуализация лексики по теме «Животные в нашей жизни», обсудить тему «Проблемы животных и их решение».

Задачи:

  1. Развивать у учащихся познавательный интерес к изучению английского языка. Познакомить детей с понятием «исчезающее животное», сформировать знания учащихся по данной теме.
  2. Совершенствование навыков диалогической и монологической речи учащихся, тренировка орфографического навыка, совершенствование навыков чтения и аудирования. Развитие внимательности, памяти и логического мышления. Тренировка языковой догадки.
  1. Развивать у детей чувство бережного отношения к животному миру, воспитывать чувство ответственности по отношению к животным.

Оборудование: картинки «Животный мир», мультимедийная компьютерная презентация, игрушка тигр, раздаточный материал – текст письма, карточки для письма.

Ход урока:

  1. Организационный момент.

Приветствие. Good morning, dear children. I’m glad to see you. I think we can begin our lesson to read the poem to greet each other.

Слайд 1. It’s time to say “Hello!” “Hello!”

It’s time to say “Hello!” “Hello!”

And start our lesson!

Слайд 2. Тема урока, задачи. Today we'll have a talk about wild and domestic Animals, their problems and how we can help them in difficult situations.

II. Фонетическая разминка.

You know many wild and domestic animals. Let’s remember them. Now I want you to listen to the names of animals and repeat them after the speaker. Слайды

III. Основная часть урока.

  1. Совершенствование навыков диалогической и монологической речи учащихся. Речевая разминка. (игрушка Тигр).

Boys and girls, the guest came to our lesson. What is it? Yes, it’s a tiger. Tiger wants to ask questions to you. Listen to them. (дети отвечают на вопросы).

Слайд «Животные»- заставка. Вопросы: Do you like animals? Are your friends? What wild, domestic animals do you know? Do you know animals live in your country?  Have you got pets? Do you take care of them? Etc.

  1. Тренировка навыков аудирования и внимательности.  

Tiger: I have got many friends. I’m going to tell you about my friends and you try to guess who they are. (Загадки. Ответы появляются на экране)

  • It’s the biggest animal. Its colour is grey. It is strong and clever. It lives in India and Africa. It helps people to work. (an elephant) слайд- слон
  • It is not very big but it’s beautiful.  It is cunning, clever and independent. Its colour is orange. This animal likes to eat mouse. (a fox) слайд- лиса
  • It is very big and beautiful. It can be brown or white. It is clever and independent. It likes to eat fish. This animal sleeps in winter. (a bear) слайд- медведь
  • 3. тренировка лексических навыков. Задание на соответствие. Let’s revise the word and phrases. Look at the screen; match the Russian words with the English words. Слайд найти соответствия.

4. Совершенствование навыков чтения с поиском детальной информации.

The tiger: I have got a surprise for you. It is the letter from the King of Animals. Yes, it’s the lion’s letter. The lion wrote you about Animals’ problems and ask you to help to solve them. Let’s read this letter, discuss then. Слайд 45- текст письма (у детей текст письма, читаем).

Letter: Hello, dear children! I am the King of all animals, Lion. I’m very strong, independent and I have many friends: domestic animals, wild animals. Each animal is very beautiful and play a very important role in people’s life.  But we have got problems. The man is our friend but sometimes he isn’t kind with us. The wild animals are in danger today. People kill them. The animals become less. There are many endangered animals all over the world: the panda, the deer, the polar bear and others. Domestic animals have problems too. Some people are cruel, don’t take care of them, and don’t feed them. Help the animal’s world!

  1. Физкультминутка. I see you are tired. Let’s have a rest. Stand up, please. Look at the screen, read and listen to the phrase, read and do this task. Слайды- физкультминутка

Look at the screen and read the problems. (читаем проблемы – как итог предыдущего текста)

  1. Развитие познавательного интереса. The lion told us about problems. We know that an endangered animal is very serious problem. What endangered animals do you know? (называют). Look at the screen about some of them.  Слайды endangered animals
  2. Совершенствование навыков чтения, тренировка орфографического навыка, развитие логического мышления, внимательности.

Dear children. Now we know the problems. I think we have to decide how to solve them and help animals. Read the list of the statements and write the statement which can help the animals. На столах у детей карточки с 10 предложениями. Найти  предложения, выписать 1 группа- How we can help domestic animals in their lives. 2 группа- How we can help wild animals in their lives. 3 группа -  How we can help endangered animals. Слайд – темы заданий (читаем) 3 минуты

  • You must love animals.
  • You should take care of the pet.
  • You must be a real friend of the animal in any situation.
  • There should be more National Parks.
  • People should protect the places where animals live.
  • It is better for wild animals to live in the wild.
  • Don’t kill the animals.
  • People should protect the animals.
  • Zoos and wild animal parks help us to learn about animals.
  • People must feed the animals well at home and at the zoo.
  1. Активизация лексических единиц, совершенствование навыков аудирования.

We’ve known about animals’ problems and how we solve them. I see you want to help our friends. You are good. You are future of the world that’s why you must save our planet for yourself. All people have got dream. Have you got it? Let’s listen to the poem. It is called “My dream”, ex. 14, p. 107. Answer the questions:

 What animals does the author love?

What is her dream?

Do you agree with this girl?

IV. Подведение итогов урока.

Итог.  Do you like our lesson? Will you help animals? What problems do you know? What have we done today?
