Конспект урока английского языка в 7А классе

тема: СПОРТ

используемая технология:

ПРОЕКТНАЯ ДЕЯТЕЛЬНОСТЬ НА УРОКЕ АНГЛИЙСКОГО ЯЗЫКА

Цель и задачи урока:

  • развивать умение читать и говорить на основе прочитанного.
  • извлекать необходимую информацию из разных источников с целью добавления к прочитанному.
  • закрепление грамматической темы - сравнение прилагательных.

Ход урока:

1. Организационный момент и речевая разминка

  • Hello, boys and girls. Nice to meet you.
  • How are you? Is anybody absent? Let's begin our work.

2.        Сообщение целей урока:

-        Today you will speak about sport.

You will listen the taperecord and do the test, then you will read the text and

answer the questions on the text. Fter that you will try to retell the story, that you

had prepared to this lesson.

At the end of the lesson, you will do the puzzle. But at first, we will repeat

adjectives.

  • Open the Student's book, page number 66. We read adjectives in exercise
    number 1.
  • Kate, read the words aloud and other pupils repeat after her and try to make
    the comparative and the superlative forms.

  • Beautiful - more beautiful - the most beautiful
  • handsome
  • rich
  • attractive
  • famous
  • successful
  • great
  • talented
  • smart
  • funny
  • clever
  • intelligent

3.        Затем учащиеся расширяют знания по грамматике, читая правила по
учебнику (стр.67).

-   And now let's read grammar rules in the box (p.67). Vasya, read and translate, please.

«Вася такой же высокий, как и Петр»

«Vasya is so tall as Peter»

«Юля не такая богатая, как Лена»
« Yulya is not(isn't) so rich as Lena»

4. Закрепление материала.

Students, you get cards with exercise. Read aloud and translate into Russian,

please.

5. Развитие навыков аудирования при закреплении грамматической темы:

- And now, students, let's listen to the tape record We will listen that text twice. Decide, please, which statement is T (true) and which is F (false). Listen and check.

(текст аудирования стр.67. Текст на сравнительные степени прилагательных. Сравниваются успехи двух фигуристок. В конце проверяем, как изменилось прилагательное и верное ли это утверждение.

6. Проверка домашнего задания:

-        And now we will check how did you do your homework. Vika, read the text,
please, and after reading make 5 questions to the text. Get ready to answer
them.

(ученица читает текст домашнего задания и после прочтения задает следующие вопросы:)

  • Where is Sochi located?
  • What is it famous for?
  • How can people travel to Sochi?
  • What can visitors enjoy in this city?
  • Sochi is Olympic centre, isn't it?

7.Активизация лексики по теме «Olympic Winter Games».

-        You know a lot of popular winter games, don't you? Let's make up a list.
Ученики вместе с учителем подписывают на доске список популярных зимних видов спорта под шуточными рисунками:

8. Some pupils had to prepare some projects about the Olympic Games to this lesson. Olga, please.

The Olympic Games

The Olympic Games have a very long history. They began in ancient Greece. The games were held in honor of Zeus, the principal god of the Greeks. They lasted for five days and became a symbol of peace and friendship, because in keeping with the decree of that time no wars could be waged during the Games. The athletes competed in running, boxing, wrestling, horse and chariot racing and the like. The winners were presented with laurel wreaths in the temple of Zeus. There is a list of

Winners dating from 776 ВС.

The Games took place every four years and were so important in the life of the Greeks that they calculated time by them. The Olympic Games were held for nearly twelve centuries until they were abolished in 394 AD by the Christian

Emperor Theodosius I.

The Olympic Games were revived only at the end of the 19th century thanks to Baron Pierre de Coubertin. In 1894 he addressed the International Congress of

Athletes and emphasized the importance of sport in people's life.The first modern Olympic Games were held in Athens in 1896 to underline the importance of precedent. The International Olympic Committee was also set up in 1896. It is the central policy-making body of the Olympic movement. It is composed of representatives from all the countries, which take part in the Olympic Games. The International Olympic Committee decides on the programme of the games, the number of the participants and the host-city for the games. Over one hundred and fifty countries are represented in the International Olympic Committee now. Each of the countries also has its National Olympic Committee.

In 1924 there were established the Winter Olympic Games, that were initiated in the same year as the Summer. However, since 1994, the time of holding the Winter Olympic Games is shifted by two years regarding the time of the Summer Games. In the same places of holding the Olympic Games two weeks later, the Paralympic

Games are held for people with disabilities.

Summer and Winter Games are held separately. There are always several citieswishing to host the Games. For example, Sochi is the host of the Winter Games of 2014. The International Committee selects the most suitable city. After that the city starts preparations for the competitios, constructs new sports facilities, stadiums, hotels, press centres. Thousands of athletes, journalists and guests come to the Games, and it takes a lot of efforts to arrange everything. There is always an interesting cultural programme of concerts, exhibitions, festivals etc. for every Games.

Russia joined the Olympic movement in 1952. Since then it has won a lot of gold, silver and bronze medals. In 1980 Moscow hosted the XXII Olympic Games. The latest Winter Olympic Games were held in Sochi 2014.
