Внеклассное мероприятие по теме «Животные»

Цели:  

  • обобщение материала по теме «Животные»;
  • совершенствование навыков диалогической и монологической устной речи;
  • закрепление лексических навыков; совершенствование навыков выразительного рассказывания стихотворений;
  • поддержание интереса к изучению иностранного языка.

Оборудование:

декорации и костюмы для инсценировки сказок; магнитофон; кассеты с записями песен; компьютер; м/м проектор;

Ход мероприятия.

Hello, dear guests. Let us begin our English party. Many pupils of the second forms take part in it. We’ll sing you some songs, recite some poems and show two plays.

Now listen to the song Old Macdonald Had a Farm. All our pupils will sing it.

Old Macdonald had a farm. E-I-E-I-O!

And on his farm he had some chicks, E-I-E-I-O!

And a chick, chick here, and a chick, chick there,

Here a chick, there chick, everywhere a chick, chick.

Next comes the folk-poem “A Cat went to town to buy a hat”.

Let’s watch and listen to it.

Now listen to the song “My Chickens”. All our pupils will sing it.

Our next item will be a poem, called “Babies”.

  1. The cat has a kitten.

What does it say?

Now comes the poem called “The House that Jack Build”.

We are going to show you a play called “The Little House in the Wood”.

   

The Little House in the Wood

The characters are the Story-teller, the Mouse, the Frog, the Hare, the Cock, the Hedgehog, the Bear, and the Fox.

Story-teller:”Here is a house in the wood, wood, wood. A mouse is going through the wood, wood, wood. She stops at the door, door, door. She knocks at the door, door, door”.

Mouse:” Who lives in this house, house, house? Then I shall live here”.

Story-teller:”Here is a house in the wood, wood, wood. A frog is jumping through the wood, wood, wood. She stops at the door, door, door. She knocks at the door, door, door”.

 Frog:” Who lives in this house, house, house?”

 Mouse:”I do. I am a little mouse. I live in this house. And who are you?”

 Frog:”I am a frog. May I live with you?”

 Mouse:”Yes, you may. Come in, please”.

Hedgehog:”I am a hedgehog. May I live with you?”

Mouse, Frog, Hare, Cock:” Yes, you may. Come in, please”.

Story-teller:”Here is a house in the wood, wood, wood. A bear is going through the wood, wood, wood. He stops at the door, door, door. He knocks at the door, door, door”.

Bear:” Who lives in this house, house, house?”

Mouse, Frog, Hare, Cock, Hedgehog:” We do. I am a little mouse. I am a frog. I am a hare. I am a cock. And who are you?”

Bear:”I am a bear. May I live with you?”

All together:”Yes, you may. Come in, please”.

Story-teller:”Here is a house in the wood, wood, wood. A fox is running through the wood, wood, wood. She stops at the door, door, door. She knocks at the door, door, door”.

Fox:” Who lives in this house, house, house?”

All together:”We do. I am a little mouse. I am a frog. I am a hare. I am a cock. I am a bare.

The fox:” My dear frog and mouse! My dear cock and hedgehog! My dear hare and bear! May I live with you?”

The mouse and the frog the hare, the cock, the hedgehog and the bear:” And who are you?”

The fox:”I am a fox.

All together:” Oh! No, you are bad fox. You want to eat us. Go away. We don’t want you!!!!

Now comes the last item on our programme is a play called “The Turnip”.

The Turnip.

The characters are The Story-teller, Old man, Old woman, Granddaughter, the Dog, the Cat, the Mouse, and the Turnip.

Story-teller: “One day Old man planted a turnip. The turnip grew and grew till it was very, very big.

One morning Old man goes into the garden and sees a big yellow turnip”.

Old man: “Oh, what a big turnip we have in our kitchen-garden. I want to pull it out. One, two, three. One, two, three.  Oh! It’s too big for me. No result!

Granny, granny come and help me, please!”

Old woman:”All right. I’m coming. What do you want? Why are you calling me?”

Old man: “Look! What a big turnip we have in our kitchen-garden.

 Help me to pull it out, please”.

All together:” One, two, three. One, two, three. Oh! It’s too big for us. No result!”

Old woman:”Granddaughter, granddaughter, come and help us, please”.

Granddaughter:” All right, Granny. I’m coming. What do you want? Why are you calling me?”

Old woman:” Look! What a big turnip we have in our kitchen-garden. . Help us to pull it out, please”.

All together:” One, two, and three. One, two, three. Oh! It’s too big for us. No result!”

Granddaughter: “Dog, Dog, come and help us, please!”

Dog: “All right. I’m coming. What do you want? Why are you calling me?

Granddaughter:” Look! What a big turnip we have in our kitchen-garden. Help us to pull it out, please”.

All together:” One, two, and three. One, two, three. Oh! It’s too big for us. No result!”

Dog:”Cat, Cat, come and help us, please!”

Cat:”All right. I’m coming. What do you want? Why are you calling me?

Dog:” Look! What a big turnip we have in our kitchen-garden. Help us to pull it out, please”.

Story-teller: “Mouse took hold of Cat; Cat took hold of Dog; Dog took hold of Granddaughter; Granddaughter took hold of Old woman; Old woman took hold of Old man; Old man took hold of the turnip. They pulled and pulled and they pulled it out”.

Turnip:”Here I am! Thank you!”

All together:”Oh! What a big turnip we have in our kitchen-garden!”
