Dear Alex,

How was your holiday? I received your postcard from Paris. It was fantastic! I thought you were going to go to Amsterdam. Are you back in London now?

Anyway, tomorrow I start school again. I don’t know what to expect this year because I changed school and I’m a bit nervous because of that. You see, I’ve got six very good friends and only half of them will be in the new school with me. My parents say everything is going to be all right because I can always make more friends there. Most people say that my new school is one of the best in the city. That’s why my parents decided to send me there. It’s a big building and it is very modern. It has got a lot of facilities, such as a basketball court, a huge school yard, and its own swimming pool! And your favourite one: a small football pitch!

Unfortunately, it’s a long way from home. Every day, I’ll have to wake up at six thirty to get the bus. It takes about forty minutes to get to school. I’ll be very sleepy but it’s not going to be a big problem because I guess I can study for school on the way.
