Narrator 6: Alice decides to follow the rabbit into his burrow when all of a sudden she finds herself in a curious room with a small door. She begins to turn the handle......

Doorknob: Ohhhhh!!

Alice: I beg your pardon.

Doorknob: Oh, oh, it's quite all right. But you did give me quite a turn!

Alice: I simply must get through!

Doorknob: Sorry, you're much too big.

Narrator 7: Alice finds a small bottle marked ‘drink me’, she picks it up and takes a sip.

Narrator 8: The drink shrinks Alice to a size small enough for her to climb through the keyhole in the door.

Alice: Mister Rabbit! Mi- mister Rabbit!

Alice: Did you see where the white rabbit went?

Tweedle Dee: Why are you looking for the white rabbit?

Alice: Well, I- I'm curious to know where he is going!

Tweedle Dum: Ohhhh, you’re curious! The Oysters were curious too, would you like to hear their story?

Alice: I’m in such a rush, I do apologise (starts to move away)

Tweedle Dee: Well I do believe the white rabbit went that way, if you hurry, you might just catch him (point in a direction)

Tweedle Dum: It’s been nice meeting you Alice. I hope you find the rabbit

Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum: Hope to see you again soon!

Play exit song

Narrator 10: Alice makes her way towards a large garden filled with roses, tulips, daisies, buttercups and many more beautiful flowers.

Alice: What curious butterflies!

Rose: You mean bread-and-butterflies.

Alice: Flowers can't talk.

Daisy: But of course we can talk.

Tulip: If there's anyone worth talking to.

Buttercup: Or about!

Violets: And we dance too!

Alice: You do?

Flowers: Oh, yes. Would you like to see?

All flowers to complete short dance sequence to ‘Golden Afternoon’.

Alice: That was lovely.

Narrator 11: After thanking the flowers Alice begins to make her way towards the forest. Finding herself lost on a maze of pathways she decides to stop.

Alice: I wonder which way I should go?

Play Cheshire Cat song

Alice: Now where in the world do you suppose that...

Cheshire Cat: Uh... loose something?

Alice: You're a cat!

Cheshire Cat: A Cheshire Cat.

Alice: Do you know which way I ought to go?

Cheshire Cat: Well, that depends on where you want to get to?

Alice: Oh, it really doesn't matter.

Cheshire Cat: Then it really doesn't matter which way you go! But if you'd really like to know, he went that way. (points)

Alice: Who did?

Cheshire cat: The white rabbit. If you want to know where he’s going I'd ask the Mad Hatter.

Narrator 12: Alice makes her way to the house to find the Mad Hatter having a tea party with a hare and a dormouse.

Play Tea Party music

March Hare & Mad Hatter: No room, no room!

Mad Hatter: It's very rude to sit down without being invited!

March Hare: It’s very rude, indeed!

Dormouse: Very very rude, indeed...

March Hare: Tea, you must have a cup of tea!

Alice: That would be very nice. I'm sorry I interrupted your birthday party

Mad Hatter: Birthday? This is not a birthday party!

March Hare: This is an unbirthday party!

(White Rabbit enters and runs past)

White Rabbit: No time, no time, no time! Hello, goodbye! I'm late!

Mad Hatter and March Hare: Who’s got the time?

Narrator 13: Alice chases the white rabbit to a large a castle where she meets the ace and 2 of spades. The cards were carefully painting white roses red

All cards to complete dance sequence.

Card painters: The Queen! The Queen!

Queen: Cards, stop!

White Rabbit: He...he... her majesty, the Queen of Hearts! (Queen to wave)

Queen: Hum... Who's been painting my roses red?

Ace: Your majesty! Please, it's all his fault! (points to the 2 of spades)

Two: Not me, your grace! The Ace, the Ace!

Queen: That's enough! Off with their heads!

Ace: No wait your Majesty it was her (points to Alice)

Queen: Well then... Off with her head.

All Cards: She’s going to lose her head

Alice: I'm not afraid of you! Why, you're nothing but a pack of cards!

All Cards: Let’s get her!

Narrator 14: The cards began to chase Alice through a tall maze when all of a sudden she found herself waking up; her adventures in Wonderland had been nothing but a dream.

(Cast to take a bow)

Narrator 15: Thank you for watching our play, we hope you enjoyed it.
