Игровой проект «Выбор профессии. Деловая игра»

Цель проекта: 

• актуализировать процесс профессионального самоопределения учащихся за счет специальной организации их деятельности, включающей получение знаний о себе и о мире труда и профессий;
•  подготовить школьников к сознательному выбору профессии;
•  развивать индивидуальные способности учащихся в процессе их коллективного взаимодействия, помогающего создавать на уроке атмосферу взаимопонимания и сотрудничества.

Актуальность выбранной темы

        Каждый предмет обучения играет свою роль в образовании и воспитании молодежи, в формировании личности гражданина. Английский язык как общеобразовательный учебный предмет обладает большим воспитательным, образовательным и развивающим потенциалом и вносит свой вклад в решение поставленных задач. В настоящее время обучение иностранным языкам рассматривается под углом зрения обучения коммуникативной деятельности, умению общаться. Обучающийся получает возможность пользоваться языком в его коммуникативной функции, прежде всего на уроке, поэтому внимание ученых, методистов и учителей направлено на поиск резервов для совершенствования урока иностранного языка, на повышение его эффективности, действенности. Тема выбора профессии как нельзя актуальна для учащихся 9 класса. Именно в этот момент ребята начинают задумываться о своей профориентации. Именно актуальность темы может мотивировать учащихся к коммуникации, так как она затрагивает лично каждого из учащихся в группе и интересна и в тоже время сложна для всех. В этот момент ребята хотят говорить на эту тему и обсуждать ее с одноклассниками и преподавателями. Они ищут поддержки и понимания как среди сверстников, так и среди представителей старшего поколения.

Задачи:

• сформировать у учащихся активную позицию по отношению к выбору будущей профессии;
• сформировать у учащихся знания о мире труда и профессий, требованиях профессии к личности;
• научить соотносить требования, предъявляемые профессией, с индивидуальными качествами;
• научить анализировать свои возможности и способности, формировать общественно значимые мотивы выбора профессии;
• подготовить к профессиональному самоопределению.

Методы:

•  дидактическая игра;
•  воображаемая ситуация.

Ресурсы:

•  разноцветные карточки с тематическими словами;
•  список качеств человека, определяющий выбор профессии;
•  карточки с заданиями;
•  примерные диалоги для описания профессий.

Проект осуществляется по определенной схеме:

1. Подготовка к проекту.

        Приступая к созданию учебного проекта, следует соблюдать ряд условий:

• предварительно изучить индивидуальные способности, интересы, жизненный опыт каждого ученика;
• выбрать тему проекта, сформулировать проблему, предложить учащимся идею, обсудить ее с учениками.

2. Организация участников проекта

        Сначала формируются группы учащихся, где перед каждым стоит своя задача. Распределяя обязанности, учитываются склонности учащихся к логичным рассуждениям, к формированию выводов, к оформлению проектной работы. При формировании группы в их состав включаются школьники разного пола, разной успеваемости, различных социальных групп.

3. Выполнение проекта

        Этот шаг связан с поиском новой, дополнительной информации, обсуждением этой информации, и ее документированием, выбором способов реализации проекта. Группы могут соревноваться друг с другом. Проектные задания тщательно градуируются, с тем, чтобы учащиеся могли выполнять их на английском языке.

4. Подведение итогов проектной работы

        Количество шагов – этапов от принятия идеи проекта до его презентации зависит от его сложности. В основном большинство проектов выполняются в ходе итоговых уроков, когда по результатам его выполнения, учитель оценивает усвоение учащимися определенного учебного материала. При оценке готового проекта следует обращать внимание не только на правильное использование языка.

        Важным стимулом для развития личности учащегося является степень их творчества и оригинальности при выполнении проекта. Планирование учебных занятий в рамках целого цикла и конкретно каждого урока, комбинирование материалов разных уроков, логическая последовательность в выполнении заданий, связь между этапами урока - вот те проблемы, которые успешно решаются, отдельный опыт представлен в данной работе. Включение в учебный процесс такого типа проекта как творческий, помогает преподавателю решать вопросы развития инициативы и самостоятельности школьников, способствует усилению мотивации изучения английского языка.

        Игра формирует устойчивый интерес к дальнейшему изучению английского языка, а также уверенность в успешном овладении им. Но хочется отметить, что игра имеет не только мотивационную функцию, но и коммуникативную, воспитательную, релаксационную, развлекательную, развивающую и т.д.

        Использование на уроках и во внеклассной работе игровых технологий способствует активизации познавательной и творческой деятельности учащихся, развивает их мышление, память, воспитывает инициативность, позволяет преодолеть скуку в обучении иностранному языку. Игры развивают сообразительность и внимание, обогащают язык и расширяют запас слов учащихся, сосредотачивают внимание на оттенках их значений. Игра может заставить ученика вспомнить пройденное, пополнить свои знания. 

        Использование игровых технологий и технологии проектной деятельности способствует также созданию условий для развития индивидуальных способностей учащихся в процессе их коллективного взаимодействия, помогающего создавать на уроке атмосферу взаимопонимания и сотрудничества.

        Игровой проект – это вид деятельности, при реализации которой его участники посредством игры получают знания, формируют умения. Проект развивается и оформляется в ходе ролевого взаимодействия. Результатом игрового проекта является продукт, который участники должны представить в виде различного рода презентаций (визуальной, ролевой, предметной и др.)

Мы уверены, что каждый из присутствующих использует игровой проект на уроках, а мы в свою очередь хотим вам представить несколько вариантов игрового проекта наглядно.

        Ход проекта

This year may be your last year at school and one of the main choices you have to make is the choice of your future profession. The right choice will help you to be successful and happy in your future life. I suppose it’s a burning problem not only for you, but for your parents as well. That’s why we are going to speak about jobs and professions. It is necessary to understand if this or that job acceptable and interesting for you or not.

Правила: если команды вышли за пределы указанного в игре лимита времени, то они выходят из игры и получают штрафное очко.

        The profession of a traffic warden is one of the most important, responsible and even dangerous professions in the world. Traffic wardens assist in regulating traffic flow. With the help of the law, they must protect public order. Representatives of this profession provide the order on the streets patrolling territory and arresting people who break the law. They must be physically strong, should have good reactions and have a desire to help people, to defend their price. Responsibility, the ability to think logically and to remain calm in difficult situations also significantly increases the chances of making a career.

        If you want to become a doctor you must be good at studies because a doctor is one of the most responsible professions. People trust doctors the main treasure they have – their life, that’s why  doctors must be highly qualified specialists. They must help people at any time and doctors can’t make  mistakes. Qualified specialist always diagnoses and institutes therapy correctly. Human life often depends on professionalism of a doctor. They must be openhearted people. They must worry about the health of their patients

        Can you imagine how fine it is to be an architect, to build houses, schools, factories, towns, and bridges? This profession combines skills from the architecture and general crafting disciplines . That is why an architect must be interested in such subjects as mathematics, geometry and painting.
architecture is a real art. It plays an important role in the formation of our emotions, tastes and feelings, it influences on our views, outlook and mood. It enriches our inner world. It is very difficult to make some project, to bring into focus all that is most important and significant.

        Shop assistants work in shops where they perform assistance duties. The help shopkeepers in their daily work such as ordering and refilling of goods and stock, providing general advice to customers, selling products and maintaining the shop. A sales assistant has a lot of different duties to perform. He should know how to attract a customer, how to make him/ her excited about the merchandise, how to make a connection with the guest, how to convert “just looking” into “sold”, how to make unforgettable memories for customers and make them to come back.

        A reporter is one who writes about news stories for a newspaper or to tell people about news events on the television or radio. This is basically who a reporter is. The newsroom in any media organization is basically made up of reporters and editors. Reporters do a very important job in the newsroom. They are responsible for researching, finding the news and writing it. Having done all this, they give the finished content to the editors for review before printing or broadcasting.

Traffic warden – поговорить с водителем или показать дорогу туристу, который потерялся (speak with a driver or show the way to the tourist who has lost his way)

an architector – сделать рекламу дома (advertise your house)

a salesman – продать товар покупателю (sell goods to a buyer)

reporters – идут на прием к доктору, оценивают продаваемый дом, играют роль шофера, или спрашивают дорогу у полицейского.

- No, sorry. But I am sure you won’t miss it. It’s a beautiful marble building with columns. It’s next to the Art gallery, just opposite the fountains. If you need a box-office there you should take a lift to the basement level, then pass the cloakroom and walk straight down the aisle until you see the notice.

- That seems quite far. Ok then. Thanks a lot. You’ve been really helpful. By the way is there a beach close to the Theatre? Could you tell me the way, please?

- Actually it’s about 2 miles from the Opera House. You could catch a bus and the third stop will be yours.

- I would rather go on foot. I enjoy walking and admiring the city architecture.

- I see. Then you should go around the corner on your left, walk along King’s Road, cross the bridge and then take the second right at the traffic lights. You’ll see the exit to the beach in about half a mile.

- OK. Thanks again. Hopefully I won’t get lost again.

- Have fun at the beach!

        Talk with the doctor

- Next, please. Come in… Take a seat.

-  Hello, doctor. Last time I came to see you a year ago. You gave me a complete medical check-up then.

-   OK. And what is the matter with you at the moment? Any complaints?

-   I don’t feel very well. I’ve had an awful headache for 2 days already. Besides I’ve got a sore throat.

-   Have you got a high temperature?

-   I took my temperature this morning. It was 37.9.

-   That’s not so much, I must say.

-   So much the better, doctor. If it were over 38 degrees I’d be in bed now.

-   Are you coughing much?

-   A little bit. I don’t have any fits of coughing but I feel pain when I talk and swallow.

-   I see. I have to examine your throat and sound your lungs now… Please, strip to the waist. Now take a deep breath. OK. You can breathe out. And now I want you to cough. Good… Well, don’t worry, it’s just a throat infection. There’s nothing wrong with your lungs. I’ll prescribe some pills which you should take twice a day, in the morning and in the evening, after your meals. You should also take cough syrup, 3 teaspoonfuls a day will be enough. And it goes without saying that you must not drink any cold liquids.

-   All right. Is that all doctor?

-  Oh, yes, I shall not prescribe any antibiotics for you, as you haven’t got bronchitis fortunately. If you follow my directions, you’ll avoid any complications and feel much better in a couple of days. However if the symptoms do not disappear by Thursday you should come and consult me again. So, get well. Here is your prescription. By the way, shall I write out a sick-list?

-    No, it’s all right. I’m on vacation now. Thank you, doctor. Bye-bye.

Teacher: I am far from imagining that all of you will choose professions we were speaking about, but I believe that the knowledge of  this vocabulary will be of some use in your future occupation and everyday life.

Выбор профессии – это очень важное событие в жизни каждого человека. Но какую бы профессию вы, ни выбрали, вам всегда пригодятся знания, полученные в школе. Поэтому постарайтесь уже сейчас определить область ваших интересов, больше читайте, набирайтесь опыта и знаний. Для этого нужно пробовать себя в самых разных областях. Как хорошо заметил один мудрец: «Чтобы не ошибаться, нужно иметь опыт. Чтобы иметь опыт, нужно ошибаться».

Выводы:

        В данной работе освещены:

•  основные вопросы обеспечения мотивации изучения иностранного языка на разных этапах,
•  связи учебного материала с жизненными ситуациями,
• организации такой речевой практики, которая предполагает высокую мыслительную активность обучаемых,
• развитие их творческой инициативы, некоторые пути повышения коммуникативной направленности урока.

        Применительно к уроку иностранного языка, проект - это специально организованный учителем и самостоятельно выполняемый учащимися комплекс действий, завершающихся созданием творческого продукта. Проект ценен тем, что в ходе его выполнения, учащиеся самостоятельно приобретают знания, получают опыт познавательной и учебной деятельности. Проектная методика характеризуется высокой коммуникативностью и предполагает выражение учащимися своих собственных мнений, чувств, активное включение в реальную деятельность, принятие личной ответственности за продвижение в обучении. Проектная методика основана на цикличной организации учебного процесса. Отдельный цикл рассматривается как законченный самостоятельный период обучения, направленный на решение определенной задачи в достижении общей цели овладения английским языком.
