Конспект урока для 7 класса на тему «Досуг и увлечения (хобби) современного подростка (свободное время)

Цель урока:

 Развитие языковой компетентности учащихся по теме «Хобби»

Задачи:

практические - активизировать знания, умения и навыки учащихся по теме «Хобби»; учить логически строить высказывание на основе прослушанной и переработанной информации.

развивающие – развивать кругозор учащихся, творческие навыки; ), развитие творческих способностей учащихся, расширение кругозора, развитие навыков     аудирования, устной речи и чтения.

воспитательные – создавать возможность для проявления индивидуальных способностей учащихся, развитие навыков к сотрудничеству;

образовательные – совершенствовать фонетические и лексические навыки, расширить словарный запас, активизировать знакомую лексику в речевых ситуациях, создать условия для спонтанной речи.

мультимедийный проектор для демонстрации слайдов в программе «Power point»,

презентации, компьютер,

Формы учебной деятельности: парная, групповая, фронтальная.

Методы: беседа, слайдовая презентация, мозговой штурм.

Тип урока: знакомство с новым материалом.

Ход урока:

1.  Организационный момент,  введение темы.

Teacher:    Hello, dear boys and girls!  Nice to see you. How are you today? Who is on duty today? Who is absent today? What date is it today? What is the weather like today? What day is it today? What season is it today? What is your favourite season? Is it cold in the street today?( 3 min)

Today at our lesson we have guests and I hope  you`ll show them all our knowledge .

To guess what we are going to talk about have a look at the screen. You can see some pictures, try to guess what we are going to talk at  our  lesson. (Слайд 1)

(Учащиеся высказывают свои предположения)

P1; We are going to speak about activities

P2 We are going to speak about free time.

P3; We are going to speak about different activities.

Teacher:    So today we`re going to speak about  different activities and  hobbies  and the theme of our lesson is “Lead the way!”(Покажи пример!) We`ll listen to you and know about different hobbies of  your classmates and we`ll listen to the text about American teens.

2.  Речевая разминка.

Teacher:  I`d like to begin our lesson with the question: What is hobby?

                What does the word “hobby” mean?

(Учащиеся высказывают свои предположения)

Could you look at the screen. (Слайд 2) Use the words and try to make up a definition to the word “hobby’. You can write it in your copy-books. Think a little.

Hobby is…( activity somebody an enjoys which in somebody’s time free doing)

(Учащиеся пишут в тетрадях)

T; OK.Who is ready? Read it,please. (P1 reads the definition,)Well done! Now all together, please.

(Hobby is an activity which somebody enjoys doing in somebody`s free time)

(T; Look at the screen, read and translate the phrase;”

” Twice happy is the man who has a hobby, for he has a hobby and  for he has two worlds to live in.. “  Do you agree with this phrase? ( Slide 3 )

( Ps give their views)

P: I agree with this phrase because a person who has a hobby lives in two worlds and his life is very interesting.

They are always busy and they have no time to be bored.

3. Актуализация лексики по теме.

T: Let`s remember some words which will be useful to speak about our theme. I`m sure that some of them are already known to you, some words are new. Could you open your student books at p.26, ex.1. Please, listen and repeat these words.

(Учащиеся слушают аудиозапись и повторяют слова за диктором)-2 раза

Teacher:   Well done! And now you see these words at the screen. Could you tell me:

Which hobbies are popular with teens today?

Which hobbies are popular in your family?

Which of these hobbies are not popular with teenagers today?

(Учащиеся высказывают свои мнения)

……is popular with teens today.

…..is popular in my family.

….is not popular with teens today.

T: And now could you look at ex.2 p. 26. I see you know a lot of different activities but what quality do you need to have to do these activities. The words from ex.2 will help you to answer these questions, but at first could you repeat these words after me. (проговариваем)           And now let`s read these words one by one.

tWhat qualities do you need to have to do the activities above (Учащиеся высказывают свои мнения)

You need to be ….to box.

You need to be ….to play football.

 You need to be ….to write stories.

 You need to be ….to paint.

 You need to be ….to play chess.

You need to be ….to write songs.

 You need to be ….to knit .

T:Now  work  in pairs , try to make-up your own dialogues and act out them. The phrases from  card 1 will help you too. (Слайд 5)

-Have you got any hobbies?

 -Yes, I`m fond of …………………………..   and I`m very keen on……………………………. And what about you?

-Well  , I like…………………………………………..

-What other interest have you got?  Do you collect  anything?

-Yes, I collect……………………. and I`ve got a big collection of………….  It`s  amusing (interesting, enjoyable)

T: Another task for you. Listen to Sally describing her friends. What is each one like? ( Slide 15   ) ( Ex. 5 p.17 WB)

Teacher:    It was very interesting to listen to you. And now let`s have a rest. Could you look at the screen. Sing and do this. (физкультминутка)

:Let`s turn back to our main theme. You see that a hobby is a kind of self-expression. What is interesting to one person can be boring to another. Could you look at p.27.  You see the text about ambitious (целеустремлённый) American teenagers and their success.  

Please pay attention   to the title (заглавие) of this story. The word “drive” means ambition (стремление, цель)

Look at the screen and firstly repeat  the words and word    expressions from the text. These words will help you to understand this text better.  (Слайд 7)

 Teacher:   Now please  listen this  text and scan it at the same time.  

(Ученики слушают текст затем читают текст вслух ).

 Teacher:    Now let`s work with card 2.

Please,  could you read the sentences  and decide if these statements are  T (true) or F (false). Correct the false ones:  (Слайд 8)
