Today we will read a text

about “The Yeoman Warders” using unusual way.

Before we start I tell you the rules, listen carefully.

• Firstly, you’ll be divided into groups of four with the help of number cards.
• Then students with the same color will sit down together as a group.
• In these groups you will get a color card.
• Students in all the groups with the same color will paragraph A, who gets 2 – paragraph B, 3 is for C.
• Then after reading you are to discuss the paragraph with those who have read it. Each group with the same colors have 10 minutes to read and discuss the paragraph.
• After this you have to return to your number group and share the information and retell your paragraph. For this task you will also have 10 minutes.
• Then we will check your results of discssion.

So, everyone knows the number of the group and what paragraph he/she have to read. Now you can seat with the people who read the same paragraph. Do not forget speak only English.

Please, open your books at page 31 You are to read the text and answer the question: Did children in Victorian time work? You will have about 5 minutes to

complete the task.

Let’s move on, today we are going to play an interesting game.

But this game has certain rules.

Listen to them carefully and ask me if you don’t understand something. Is it clear?

So, the rules are following:

1 You have to divide into 3 groups. There will be 4 people in a group.

2 You will get a sheet of paper with 4 boxes and a circle in the center.

3 Each of you should write some key words, phrases or sentences concerning our question. When one completes the task, he/she should give a list to another member of your group.

4 When all members of the group are ready, you are to discuss the common ideas and write them down in the circle. Thus, you will have a small monologue.

5 Then we will listen to your texts and discuss.

The topic of our discussion you can see on the slide. There are also some useful patterns for you to express your opinion. Do not forget speak only English.

you will have 4 people, but there is a condition: they have read about different ways. In groups you should introduce the way of becoming famous you have learned about. Finally, all of you will get a sense of every landmark.
