        План мероприятий «Неделя Английского языка»        

1. Понедельник:

• выпуск стенной газеты “The Role of English in people’s life” (8, 5 кл.);
• конкурс читателей на английском языке (3 кл.)

2. Вторник:

• “Easter is coming” – урок изучения традиций празднования Пасхи (4 кл.);
• урок-презентация “Trip to London” (8 кл.).

3. Среда: 

• разговорный английский язык – просмотр фильма “Twilight” (9 кл.);

4. Четверг: 

• выпуск стенной газеты “Britain in Brief”, плакатов “Just for fun”,
• урок-презентация “A Trip to London” (7 кл.).

A Trip to London

Цель урока: закрепление изученного материала; создание образовательной среды, способствующей максимальному усвоению изученного материала.

Задачи урока:

1. Повышение уровня учебной мотивации.

2. Развитие навыков диалогической речи.

3. Активизация навыков монологической речи.

4. Формирование товарищеского и вежливого отношения друг к другу.

Оборудование: мультимедийный экран и проектор.

Ход урока

Easter is coming

Цель урока: познакомить учащихся с празднованием Пасхи в Британии.

Задачи урока:

1. Практиковать учащихся в диалогической и монологической речи.

2. Развить у учащихся воображение, самостоятельность.

3. Воспитывать у учащихся уважение к традициям и других народов.

Оборудование: класс украшен плакатом с изображением символов Пасхи, карточки с ребусом, картинки, раздаточный материал для украшения яиц.

Ход урока

Teacher:

Today we gathered together to celebrate one of the best holidays of the year “Easter”. What is Easter?

Easter Bunny 1: It is a religious holiday, which is celebrated from the 22 nd of March to May. It comes to an end of the Christian Holy Week. There are 3 favourite symbols of Easter: Easter Cross, Easter Egg and Easter Bunny. The Cross represents Christ’s victory over death. The Egg is a simbol of life. The Easter Bunny is really a hare. The hare was a favourite animal of Eastre, the spring goddness, so Bunny represents love and growth.

Easter Bunny 2: People put on new clothes on this day. In New York and other cities of America an important part of the holiday is the Easter parade. People stroll down Fifth Avenue in their finest clothes including Eаster bonnets. Flowers are a favourite gift at Easter, especially Easter lily. To welcome Easter the people go to the church services.

To celebrate Easter you are to know Easter alphabet. Do you know it? Let’s recite it (учащиеся по очереди читают стихотворения).

A is for April, the heart of the spring.

B is for Bunnies and the Baskets they bring.

C is for Cart, with eggs piled upon it.

D is for Daisies we pick for our bonnets.

E is for Eggs each a bright colour.

F is for Family, sister and brother.

G is for Garden, higing a treat.

H is for Hopping on quick bunny feet.

I is for Indoors, after egg – hunting ends.

J is for the Joy we share with our friends.

K is for Kindness that makes the day bright.

L is for Lilies, lovely and white.

M is for music we gather to play.

N is for Nest, filled with eggs the birds lay.

O is for Outdoor, where we hunt by the hour.

P is for the Puddles that follow a shower.

Q is for Quiet in the soft morning light.

R is for Rabbit, dressed up just right.

S is for Spring, when the world is in bloom.

T is for Tulips we place in each room.

U is for Umbrella is sunshine or rain.

V is for Violets found in the lane.

W is for Water where rabbits are gliding.

X marks the spot where eggs are hiding.

Y is for Young ones, happy at play.

Z is for Zeal as we greet Easter Day.

What poems about Easter do you know? Pass the eggs to your neighbour (ученики передают пасхальное яйцо друг другу и читают стихи).

1. The air is like a butterfly
   With frail blue wings
   The happy earth looks at the sky
   And sings, sings, sings.
2. Easter bells in churches ring
   People in the churches sing.
3. The little flowers came through the ground
   At Easter time, at Easter time.
   They raised their heads and looked around
   At happy Easter time.
4. The pure whity lily raised it’s cap
   At Easter time.
   The crocus to the sky looked up
   At happy Easter time.
5. A family of rabits lived in the tree 
   A father and mother and babies three
   Sometimes the bunnies would sleep all day 
   But when night time came, they liked to play.
6. Bunnes are brown, bunnies are white, 
   Bunnes are always an Easter delight
   Bunnes have ears all pinkish inside
   Bunnes all like to hop and to hide.
7. Bunnes are cuddly, the large and the small,
   But I like the chocolate ones best of all.
8. I’ve coloured my eggs 
   With paint and brush
   And I’ll hide them on Easter
   In your house. Hush! Hush!

1. How do you know that flowers are lazy? - (You always find them in bed.)
2. What do rabbit say at Easter? - (“Hoppy Easter”.)
3. When do chicken have eight feet? - (When there are four of them.)

And now let’s continue our lesson. Look at the table. How nice is it? Children let's do some Easter crafts to decorate our school?

And now take the eggs and decorate them as you like

Цель урока: ознакомление учащихся с разговорной лексикой.

Задачи урока:

1. Проверить умение учащихся понимать текст при прослушивании.

2. Повышать уровень учебной мотивации.

3. Развивать логическое мышление, способность к догадке (на основе словосочетания из контекста).

4. Воспитывать у учащихся уважение к культуре других народов.

Оборудование: мультимедийный экран и проектор, карточки для самостоятельной работы.

Ход урока
