План урока:

• Обучение чтению с извлечением конкретной информации

7. Подведение итогов урока

Цели урока:

• Обобщить знания учащихся по теме: “ Jobs”.
• Совершенствовать навыки и умения.

Задачи:

1. Образовательные:

• Углубить и расширить знания учащихся по пройденной теме.
• Закрепить пройденный лексический материал.

2. Развивающие:

• Развитие навыков диалогической речи.
• Развитие навыков устной речи и аудирования.
• Развитие памяти, логики, мышления, активности учащихся.

3. Воспитательные:

• Повысить мотивацию учащихся к изучению английского языка.
• Воспитать умение работать в парах и индивидуально.
• Формировать ответственную гражданскую позицию к выбору

будущей профессии.

Оснащение: тематические картинки, карточки с заданиями, видео (песня), видео (аудирование), УМК «Forward» 8 класс (Вербицкая М.В., Маккинли С., Хастингс Б., Миндрул О.С.), ИКТ технологии.

Приветствие

Учитель: - Hello, boys and girls! My name is Marina Alekseevna.                    I am glad to see, to meet you and to teach you because I’ll be your teacher today. I’m sure you are full of energy and work really hard today. How are you today?

Учитель: - There are some pictures with the things on your desks, look at them. What do they have in common?

-Try to guess what we are going to talk about. Yes, you are right. We are going to speak about the world of jobs. Today there are thousands of different kinds of jobs, and new ones are constantly appearing. They are – teachers, doctors, drivers, pilots, lawyers, dress-makers and others. It is not an easy thing to make the right choice.

In future you should decide what job to choose, what school subjects will you need for your future profession, what skills and qualities should you have to be a good specialist.

In the English alphabet there are 26 letters can you name one job on each letter.(в сумме 5 мин)

Do you Know that professions are divided into different types according to different areas they are connected to. Each group of you has got a table where you can find the types of jobs and personal characteristics. You should fill this table.

1. My name is Mary Brown. My dream is to live in the country far from a big city. I’d like to work with animals. I love them. I help our science teacher in the lab. (A vet)

2. My name is Vivian Crawford. I’d like to start working as soon as possible as my family needs my financial support. My relatives say that I’m quite sociable. I finished medical school last year. I’d like to go into the service or work with children. (a babysitter, a nurse)

3. My name is Kate Morrison. My parents want me to work as a teacher but it’s not my first choice. I like reading and working with books. I think that I’m a bookworm. I’m good at writing, languages, and literature. (a librarian)

4. My name is Robert Smith. I’m not very good at dealing with people. I like working with machines. I have a driving licence. I have been driving for 2 years. I don’t like the idea of going to university. (a driver, a mechanic)

8.ПРОЕКТ с КАРТИНКОЙ..Choose any card with a job, discuss in groups and present us this job. Tell us as much as you can. (Обучающиеся выбирают иллюстрацию с изображением профессии, в группе готовят небольшое описание данной профессии)

Подведение итогов. Рефлексия. When choosing a future career, it’s a good idea to take different factors into account. You should think about job satisfaction, money, friendly atmosphere, good conditions, training, Position (Status), Benefits and travel. Money is an important factor when people choose a job. There are well-paid and low-paid jobs. Your home task is to write an essay “I would like to be..”The lesson is over. Did you like the lesson? Поставить like на тарелках.
