Цели урока:

1. Образовательная:

1. совершенствование речевых навыков
2. развитие навыков аудирования (умение восприни мать текст на слух с целью извлечения детальной информации)

1. Воспитательная: воспитание у детей культуры общения и поведения
2. Развивающая: развитие внимания и восприятия, мышления и воображения

ЗАДАЧИ УРОКА

1. Активизировать употребление лексики  по теме «Дом», «Помощь по дому»
2. в речи учащихся.
3. Практиковать учащихся в различных видах речевой деятельности.
4. Проконтролировать усвоение учащимися лек сического и грамматического материала по теме «Предлоги», «Артикль», оборот there is/are
5. Развивать творческие способности учащихся

Оборудование: интерактивная доска, презентация, карточки с тренировочными упражнениями и текстом

Stages

1. Introduction

Home, sweet home…  We all live with our families in different houses or flats.

(Приложение, слайд 1)

Look at the picture  and the table on your card will help you to name the parts of this house.  

Find as many words as you can. You can go to the blackboard, name and show the part of the house. (Приложение, слайд 2)

Answers: living room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, garden, garage, grass, downstairs, upstairs, flower, beautiful  (Приложение, слайд 3)

2. Warm -up activities

A cosy house, isn’t it? And what about you? (T – P1,2.3…) (Приложение, слайд 4)

1. Do you live in a house or in a flat?
2. How many rooms are there in your flat/ house?
3. What rooms are there in your flat/ house?
4. What is your favourite room?

II. Listening and practice

And now listen  to the text about another flat. Here are the cards, you are to mark the right and wrong sentences in the table.

My Flat

My family lives on the second floor in a big  house. My address is 5, Osennya Street, Obolensk.

   Our flat is big. We have 3 rooms, a bathroom, a lavatory, a corridor and a kitchen.

   To the right of the door there is a bedroom and a kitchen. Near the kitchen there is a bathroom, a lavatory and a hall. To the left of the door there is a big living-room. It is the biggest room in our flat.

We have a telephone in our flat. Its number is   37—149. We have a TV set in our flat. There is a lift in our house. I like my flat. It is nice.

1. Grammar revision: Prepositions /a table/

Where is the bee?  ( in front of, behind, near, in, out, above, etc.)

We need prepositions describing the flat/house, don’t we? So, let’s revise them with the help of these nice bees. (Приложение, слайд 6)

2. A Game: “Guess What Is Hidden” (Приложение, слайд 9)

Is it between the television and the armchair?         Yes, it is.

I suggest you to play the game “what is hidden” (один из учащихся загадывает предмет на картинке, остальные с помощью общих вопросов пытаются угадать загаданный предмет)

1. Pupils explain the use of the articles and do the exercise to illustrate the different cases of its use.

Fill in the proper article where necessary.
