Описание  разработки

1. Цели и задачи представляемой инновации

- помочь учащимся подготовиться к  сдаче ЕГЭ по английскому языку (раздел «Письмо»);

- способствовать формированию коммуникативной компетенции учащихся;

- повысить мотивацию учащихся усовершенствовать навыки и умения   письменной речи учащихся.

  Пособие позволяет решить следующие задачи:

- реализовывать активные методы обучения на уроке и при самоподготовке учащихся;

- формировать учебные, коммуникативные и социально-личностные компетентности;

- реализовывать раздел «Требования к умениям учащихся» рабочей программы учителя;

- систематизировать алгоритмы интеллектуальных и учебных действий учащихся.

1.2. Ожидаемые результаты:

- повышение учебной активности, предметной успешности и заинтересованности учащихся, что положительно скажется на их мотивации и самооценке;

-повышение качества знаний к обученности;

- изменение методики преподавания в сторону расширения возможностей применения современных образовательных технологий, активное участие в олимпиадах, конкурсах и т.д.;

- повышение культуры учебной деятельности.

1.3. Критерии оценки реализации инновации:

- эффективность использования учебного времени;

- сложность выполняемых заданий: объём, глубина проблем и др.;

- высокая степень самоорганизации учащихся на уроке и внеурочная самоподготовка;

- сотрудничество;

- оптимальное качество знаний;

- результаты ГИА и ЕГЭ;

- результаты участия в Олимпиадах и конкурсах.

1.4. Условия реализации инновации: не требует особых условий для реализации.

1.5. Содержание и структура разработки: материал представлен в виде методических  рекомендаций по работе над  письменной речью. В разработке приведены примеры выполнения титульных экзаменационных работ.  Предназначено для учителей иностранного языка и учащихся старших классов.

1.6. Основная проблема, обоснование актуальности для образовательной системы определенного уровня (федерального, регионального, муниципального, учрежденческого), научной новизны и практической значимости инновации.

   Пособие направлено на формирование учебных, коммуникативных и социально-личностных компетентностей учащихся, что является актуальным в современном мире, когда изучение английского языка приобретает массовый характер, возрастает его значимость для человека и модернизирующегося общества. Современного ученика необходимо ориентировать на активное самостоятельное овладение не только знаниями, но и  способами познавательной деятельности.

 Новизна и практическая значимость  пособия обусловлена  систематизацией алгоритмов деятельности учащихся, универсальностью применения.

 Практическая значимость  разработки состоит в том, что данное практическое пособие можно рассматривать как приложение к рабочим учебным программам по английскому языку, которое позволяет в системе реализовать подготовку к ЕГЭ, усовершенствовать навыки и умения письменной речи, способствует овладению различными стилями написания текстов (личное письмо, официальное письмо, сочинение с элементами рассуждения и др.), что приведет к положительной направленности детей к образованию и повышению заинтересованности в получении знаний.

1.7. Сроки осуществления замысла инновации (этапы реализации).

На период  работы  в 9-11 классах.

1. Степень (уровень) проработанности инновации.

2.1 Этап работы (подготовительный, проектировочный, экспериментальный, аналитический).

Экспериментальный этап. Использование системы упражнений и практического материала на уроках английского языка. Введение факультатива «Искусство написания писем».

2.2. Распространение опыта, полученные результаты с указанием их количественных и качественных показателей.

Выступление на заседаниях школьного методического объединения, стажерских курсах для молодых учителей английского языка.

Полученные результаты: эффективность подтверждается:

1. показателями  предметной успеваемости учащихся;
2. результатами ЕГЭ: средний балл – 91;
3. победами на городских и республиканских олимпиадах (в течение  пяти лет I место в республиканской олимпиаде по английскому языку);
4. участием и победами в конкурсах «The Perfect Reader» издательство «Mackмиллан», «Познание и творчество», «English Bulldog» и др.

2.3. Сформированность ресурсной базы: (помещение, оборудование и т.д.).

Содержание

 П Р Е Д И С Л О В И Е

    Цель  пособия – помочь учащимся 9-11 классов и абитуриентам в кратчайшие сроки подготовиться к итоговой аттестации по английскому  языку  в форме ГИА и единого государственного экзамена. Пособие составлено с учетом всех особенностей и требований ЕГЭ и ориентировано на адаптацию к современным технологиям контроля с учетом их нового формата и содержания.

   Одним из главных аспектов проверки на экзамене является практическое владение письменной речью в рамках изученных тем, а также коммуникативная компетенция учащихся.

   Раздел единого экзамена «Письмо» представляет собой небольшую письменную работу и включает два типа заданий: письмо личного характера (С1) и письменное высказывание с элементами рассуждения (С2). Рекомендуемое время на выполнение этого задания – 60 минут.

   При ответе на первое задание учащийся должен дать развернутое сообщение в связи с предложенным заданием, запросить необходимую информацию, использовать неофициальный стиль, а также соблюсти формат неофициального письма. При ответе на второе – уметь высказать свое мнение, приводя аргументы, доказательства примеры, логически построить свое высказывание, употребляя соответствующие средства логической связи, сделать вывод, а также продемонстрировать владение грамматическими структурами и хорошим словарным запасом в соответствии с поставленной задачей.

   Пособие содержит 2 раздела: составление письма личного характера и составление высказывания с элементами рассуждения. В нем представлено 10 писем личного характера и 20 сочинений по различным темам, составленных в соответствии с определенными установками на их выполнение.

   Для успешной подготовки к экзамену в сборнике даны рекомендации по оформлению письма личного характера (О), советы по написанию сочинения с элементами рассуждения (С2) и полезные фразы-клише, а  также приведены схемы их оценивания. Это поможет учащимся осознанно подойти к выполнению экзаменационных заданий.

   В приложении приведены возможные варианты ответов на задания С1 (письменного личного характера) и С2 (сочинение с элементами рассуждения), которые помогут оценить уровень требований  к выполнению заданий по письму. Информативная насыщенность сочинений позволяет также использовать их для развития навыка устной речи.

   Пособие предназначено, главным образом, для подготовки учащихся выпускных классов школ, гимназий и лицеев к выпускному экзамену по английскому языку, однако, оно может быть также использовано и на более раннем этапе для самостоятельной подготовки к контрольным работам по письму, а также для углубленного изучения английского языка. Сборник может быть также полезен учителям, которые найдут в нем необходимый материал для своей работы на уроках.

   Надеемся, что это пособие поможет быстро и качественно подготовиться к итоговой аттестации по английскому языку и успешно сдать единый государственный экзамен.

                        Задание № 1 (С 1)

РЕКОМЕНДАЦИИ  К СОСТАВЛЕНИЮ  ПИСЬМА

ЛИЧНОГО ХАРАКТЕРА

При написании личного письма необходимо придерживать ся следующих правил.

1. Не забудьте указать свой адрес в правом верхнем углу. Адрес   записывается в

следующем порядке:

1. Квартира
2. Номер дома, название улицы
3. Город
4. Страна

Допускается указывать адрес в кратком виде, например:

Moscow

 Russia

2. Под адресом, пропустив строку, необходимо написать дату письма:

    Письмо начинается с неофициального обращения. Пред ставьте, что вы пишете настоящему другу, а друзей обычно называют по имени. Если в задании не указано имя друга по переписке, вам следует его придумать. Начните свое письмо с дружеского обращения:

Dear Tim,

  или

Dear Rebecca,

            После обращения обязательно ставится запятая!

3. Разделите текст письма на несколько логических абзацев. Каждый абзац должен начинаться с красной строки, или между абзацами должна быть пропущена строка.

1) В первом абзаце вам следует поблагодарить своего друга за его письмо:

Thanks (a lot) for your letter. It was great to hear from you again!

Вы можете также извиниться за то, что не писали раньше:

I'm sorry I haven't answered earlier but I was really busy with my schoolwork.

и/или упомянуть какой-либо факт из полученного письма: / 'т glad you passed your History test! Sounds like you had a great time in London! Great news about your ... !

1. Основная часть письма (2—3 абзаца). В этой части своего письма вы должны раскрыть все аспекты, указанные в за дании. Внимательно прочитайте вопросы, заданные в письме, и постарайтесь дать на них развернутые ответы. Предполагается, что письмо должно быть написано в неформальном стиле, поэтому вы можете использовать неформальные слова-связки такие как actually, well, by the way, anyway, so, as for me, разговорные выражения ти па Guess what? или Wish me luck!, а также восклицатель ные знаки. Хотя личное письмо пишется в неофициаль ном стиле, тем не менее, рекомендуется использовать распространенные предложения с разнообразной лекси кой.

Не забудьте задать все необходимые вопросы. Вопросы следует выделить в отдельный абзац. Постарайтесь сде лать логичный переход от основной части письма к во просам.

1. В последнем параграфе вам следует объяснить, почему вы заканчиваете письмо:

Well, I'd better go now as I have to do my homework. 

I've got to go now! It's time for my favourite TV show.

и упомянуть о дальнейших контактах:

           Write (back) soon!

           Keep in touch!

Drop me a letter when you can. Hope to hear from you soon.

 I can't wait to hear from you!

5.        В конце письма на отдельной строке указывается завершающая фраза. После нее всегда ставится запятая! Ниже приводятся семь возможных вариантов от наименее формаль-
ного (1) к более формальному (7):

6)With best wishes,

7)Yours.

6.На следующей строке под завершающей фразой указывается имя автора (без фамилии!).  

Например:

Andrew

или

Kate.

      Таким образом, письмо к другу имеет следующий вид:

7. Обязательно подсчитайте количество написанных вами слов. Чтобы не тратить на это дополнительное время на эк замене, вы можете заранее подсчитать, какое количество слов помещается у вас на одной строке, и на экзамене ори ентироваться по количеству написанных строк. Помните, что адрес и дата входят в общее количество слов.

Очень важно уложиться в заданный объем 100—140 слов, так как при превышении объема на 10% будет проверяться и учитываться только та часть письма, которая укладывается в 140 слов.

РЕКОМЕНДАЦИИ К СОСТАВЛЕНИЮ ВЫСКАЗЫВАНИЯ

С ЭЛЕМЕНТАМИ РАССУЖДЕНИЯ.

    При написании сочинения с элементами рассуждения необ ходимо придерживаться следующих правил.

1. Используйте формальный стиль письма, а именно:

1. не используйте сокращенных форм, таких как don't или can't;
2. не используйте скобки и восклицательные знаки — это свойственно неформальному стилю письма;
3. не начинайте предложения со слов and, but или also. В разговорном языке вы можете их использовать, но избе гайте этого в формальном сочинении;
4. не употребляйте вводные слова характерные для нефор мального стиля (well, you know и т.д.);
5. избегайте слишком простых предложений. Объединяйте простые предложения в сложные, используя логические средства связи.

1. Разделите текст сочинения на смысловые абзацы в соответст вии с предложенным в задании планом. Сочинения-рассуж дения могут быть двух типов: «ваше мнение» или «за и про тив». Очень важно правильно определить тип письменного высказывания и построить его в соответствии с планом.

1. В первом абзаце сформулируйте проблему, которую вы будете обсуждать, однако не повторяйте тему сочинения слово в слово. Представьте, что ваш читатель не знает, о чем пойдет речь, и попытайтесь объяснить ему про блему другими словами.
2. Выделите положительные и отрицательные аспекты про блемы и подумайте о разумных аргументах в поддержку обеих точек зрения. Помните, что вы должны выразить не только свою точку зрения, но и мнение ваших потен циальных оппонентов. Постарайтесь соблюсти баланс между абзацами.
3. В сочинении «за и против» во втором абзаце необходимо привести минимум два развернутых аргумента «за», а в тре тьем абзаце минимум два развернутых аргумента «против».

 В сочинении «ваше мнение» во втором абзаце следует сформулировать свою точку зрения по предложенной проблеме, четко обозначив её различные аспекты (соци альные, экономические, моральные и т.д.), и подкрепить её минимум двумя развернутыми аргументами. В третьем абзаце необходимо привести противоположные мнения по проблеме и объяснить, почему вы с ним не согласны, подкрепляя свое мнение развернутыми аргументами.

1. Используйте слова-связки, чтобы помочь читателям про следить за логикой ваших рассуждений. Помните, что вводные слова выделяются запятыми.
2. В заключительном параграфе сделайте обобщающий вывод по проблеме, которую вы обсуждали. Это покажет, что вы рассматриваете свое сочинение как единое целое. Вы мо жете также окончательно сформулировать свое мнение и/или предложить пути решения данной проблемы.        

1. Убедитесь, что объем сочинения составляет 200—250 слов. Если в вашем сочинении менее 180 слов, оно проверяться не будет. При превышении заданного объема более, чем на 25 слов, проверке подлежит только та часть работы, которая соответствует заданному объему.
2. Еще раз перечитайте свое сочинение и проверьте граммати ку, орфографию и пунктуацию, так как это задание оцени вается по пяти критериям (приложение 3).

Задание 2.2.

    In most countries children can be educated at home by their par ents and home schooling is becoming more and more popular. How ever, this way of education has both advantages and disadvantages.

   On the one hand, home education is ideal for children who suf fer from 'school phobia' or do not fit in with the school environ ment. They are unhappy and often play truant. On the contrary, when children are educated at home, they study in an atmosphere of love and understanding. Moreover, this way of education will per fectly suit gifted pupils, who are bored by the traditional school les sons. In this case, parents can make studying more fascinating by choosing an individual curriculum. Finally, home educated children have more flexible schedule and can study at their own pace.

   On the other hand, parents are usually not qualified enough to teach their children therefore they may not receive an appropriate lev el of education. What is more, home education is very challenging for students as they have to work harder without a direct help of a qual ified teacher. In addition, children lack the opportunity to exchange ideas with their peers, which restricts their intellectual development. They may also miss their friends as they meet only in the evenings.

   To conclude, I think although the idea of home education is be coming more popular, it might not suit every child and every parent. As for me, I would rather choose school education because it makes me more organized and provides profound knowledge in all subjects.

   Despite many recent setbacks to the travel industry, tourism is extremely popular nowadays. Some people argue that it is a necessary part of a country's development, others claim that it brings nothing but problems and is of no real benefit to local people. So how desirable is it?

  It is easy to find arguments in favour of tourism. The first is that statistics show it brings welcome prosperity to a country with limited wealth and few natural resources. It also creates employment for many local people. Finally, it encourages people to travel to countries they would never previously have dreamed of visiting. This results in an increased understanding of each other's culture, which in turn can lead to better relationships between nations.

  Nevertheless, tourism has its negative side. Firstly, critics argue that any wealth created belongs to a chosen few and that most local inhabitants gain very little_^ financially from it. In addition, the unacceptable behaviour of some tourists makes local people feel their presence is an intrusion - and they believe life would be better without people who have no respect for local customs and traditions. Lastly, one strong argument against tourism is that it damages the environment and should, therefore, be restricted or banned.

  In conclusion, tourism seems to be a controversial and emotive issue. It can bring wealth and prosperity, as well as create problems. Those involved in the industry should try to ensure that its effects are positive and the damage it causes is kept to a minimum.

Задание 2.6.

  Nowadays many people think they are too fat even if their doc tors disagree. They think the best way to improve their fitness is fol lowing a diet. But is dieting really so effective and healthy?

  On the one hand, if you want to lose weight it is very important to keep your eye on what you eat. To begin with, you should cut out snacks and desserts, which add weight without boosting energy levels. Besides, you ought to cut down on fat as it is believed to be one of the major causes of obesity. Finally, you may count the num ber of calories you eat every day, which may substantially reduce the amount of food you eat and help to lose weight.

  On the other hand, strict dieting may be dangerous. Firstly, the lower the calories eaten per day, the harder it is to get the daily requirements of proteins and vitamins. In addition, excessive dieting causes muscle loss and this loss may be from your heart with severe consequences. Moreover, dieting lowers your metabolic rate, so when you return to your normal food intake, you will put on weight even faster than before.

  To conclude, I believe that to stay healthy everybody should fol low a sensible, well-balanced diet that gives their body exactly what it needs. However, I think the best way of keeping fit is doing sports. If you do regular exercise, you can eat and drink whatever you want because you are burning it all off.

Задание 2.7.

   Genetically modified crops have made a big splash in the news lately. For example, in Honduras farmers are encouraged to produce genetically-modified (GM) crops although many people dispute about harmful effects of genetic technologies.

On the one hand, genetic technology is one of the best solutions to the problem of world hunger. GM crops are faster and cheaper to grow therefore it will be possible to increase production and lower the cost of food. Besides, these crops could be grown in areas suffering from drought and salt. More than that, many people rely on geneti cally modified foods for medicines, for example insulin for diabetics.

On the other hand, there is a possibility that introducing a gene into a plant may have an unexpected and negative impact on human health. For instance, it may create a new allergen and cause an allergic reaction in susceptible individuals. In addition, since some crops are modified using the DNA from viruses and bacteria, we may encounter new diseases. Moreover, GM crops may also pose a health risk to animals that eat them as they may be poisoned by the built-in pesticides.

In conclusion, I would like to say that many people feel that ge netic engineering is the inevitable wave of the future and that we cannot afford to ignore a technology that has such enormous poten tial benefits. However, we must proceed with caution to avoid caus ing unintended harm to human health and the environment as a re sult of our enthusiasm for this powerful technology.

Задание 2.11.

  Art has lots of different forms. However, its evaluation has be come especially problematic since the twentieth century when con troversial art forms such as graffiti became popular. Although graffiti is often regarded as a new form of art worthy of display in galleries, its value is still highly contested.

  On the one hand, works produced by graffiti artists demonstrate a broad spectrum of personal and cultural expression therefore it is the way for people to express their talent. In addition, graffiti like any other art work takes vision, planning as well as lots of efforts. What is more, in many ways viewing graffiti art is very much like viewing contemporary art in a gallery and it is appreciated by many people.

  On the other hand, graffiti is often seen as vandalism because instead of canvas graffiti artists choose train cars, bridges or public walls, which makes our cities look really ugly and run-down. More over, most of the graffiti you see on walls is a collection of swear words, gang names or just silly drawings. For many people graffiti is often associated with crime and violence.

To sum up, graffiti can be called an art form as long as artists get permission from those whose property might be used as canvas. In my opinion, people paint on public things because they have no where else to express their talent. I strongly believe city authorities should create special places for graffiti artists where all people will be able to appreciate this wonderful art form.

Задание 2.14.

  Over the last fifty years we have seen a huge rise in TV violence and a corresponding rise in the crime rate. Many people are sure this is not coincidence and blame television for the negative influence.

  In my opinion, those who think that TV violence accounts for the rise of crime in society get the situation the wrong way round. Television just reflects the increase in violence and crime in society.

  Besides, crime programmes can actually stop people from breaking the law as they usually show that crime doesn't pay. Moreover, pro grammes where real life crimes are re-enacted get people to ring in with information and eventually help to catch criminals.

  It is supposed that violence on TV has a negative influence on children as they become more aggressive after watching violent shows. There is also an opinion that people tend to imitate crime techniques watched on TV and therefore are likely to break the law. However, I believe that violence on TV and real crimes are not related since most people watch crime shows on TV without wanting to commit similar crimes themselves. I am sure the main reason for committing crimes is poverty and bad education, not television programmes.

  To conclude, I do not think it is necessary to forbid all crime pro grammes because television should tell people the truth about the world they live in. I strongly believe we should concentrate on what people experience in their daily life before we worry about what is on TV.
