8 «А» классе ГБОУ СОШ № 425 г. Москвы
на тему «Who is a successful person?»,
проведенного учителем английского языка
Белевцевой В.А.
Тема урока: «Who is a successful person?»
Дата проведения: 17.04.12 г.
Цели: 1.Совершенствование лексических навыков по теме «Who is a successful person?»
2. Развитие навыков аудирования и говорения по теме.
3. Мотивация учащихся к достижению успеха в жизни на примере известных личностей.
Тип урока: комбинированный урок обобщения знаний.
Задачи:
1. Совершенствовать умения использовать активную лексику по теме в серии речевых упражнений.
2. Практиковать учащихся в умении:
-делать краткие сообщения о знаменитых людях;
- выражать свое отношение к прочитанной информации.
3. Формировать представление о слагаемых успеха.
Оборудование: доска, компьютер, проектор, презентация , аудиофайл, карточки с лексикой по теме, учебник М.З. Биболетовой.
План урока:
- Организационный момент.( 2 минуты)
- Фонетическая и лексическая зарядка. ( 5минут)
3. Развитие лексических навыков. (10 мин)
3. Игровая пауза. (3 минуты)
4. Развитие навыков говорения. ( 10 минут)
5. Развитие навыков аудирования (10 минут)
5. Объяснение домашнего задания. ( 3 минуты)
6. Подведение итогов урока, само рефлексия.( 2 минуты)
Ход урока:
- Организационный момент.
Good morning, pupils! Sit down, please. How are you? Who is absent today?
Today we are going to continue to talk about success in our life and successful people. We will practise to use your active vocabulary in listening and speaking exercises. And we’ll try to find the formula of success.
2. Фонетическая и лексическая зарядка:
To warm up let’s practice your pronunciation and spelling skills.

3. Развитие лексических навыков.
1)What traits of character can help you to achieve success in life?
ambitious, careful, careless, brave, cruel, creative, lazy, attentive, a coach potato, talented, silly, curious, too emotional, serious, can’t concentrate on one thing, selfish, hard-working,
jealous.

2) Let’s play a game “WORD BATTLE”!

Все уч-ся заполняют лексические карточки (2 варианта). Сдают на проверку.
4. Развитие навыков говорения.

You worked very hard today, and now we`ll have a rest and play a game. I`ll read you the characteristic of a famous person, and you`ll try to guess, who he is. Is the task clear?
A) His real name was Samuel Langhorn Clemens. He was born in Missouri in 1835. His two masterpieces are «The Adventures of Tom Sawyer» and «The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn». ( Mark Twain).
B) He was born on October 28, 1955. He is one of the world's richest people and perhaps the most successful businessman. He founded the software giant Microsoft and turned it into the world’s largest software company. (Bill Gates)
C) He was an American inventor (February 11th, 1847 - October 18th, 1931) who invented the phonograph, motion picture camera, and a light bulb. Thanks to him we have electric bulb at home. (Thomas Alva Edison)
