1. Организационный момент и формулирование целей урока:

Every year, the third Sunday of November is the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims.

   Almost 4,000 people are killed and many hundreds of thousands injured on roads throughout the world every day. Most of these vehicle accidents can be prevented if safety measures are followed.

    Идея ежегодного проведения Дня памяти жертв дорожных аварий принадлежит "Road Peace" - британскому благотворительному фонду помощи жертвам ДТП, который отмечает этот день с 1993 года.

The users of a road include pedestrians, cyclists, motorists, their passengers, and passengers of on-road public transport, mainly buses and trams.

I think that you know rules of the road and you are safety-conscious pedestrians. But right now we are going to find out how well you know the rules.

Health is our wealth that’s why we must follow the rules of the road.

The motto of our lesson is “Keep safe, stay alive!”
