План-конспект урока английского языка по теме "Россия – наша Родина"

Класс: 9

Тема урока: "Russia-our Homeland" ("Россия – моя Родина").

Цель урока: Развитие коммуникативной (речевой, языковой, социокультурной, учебно-познавательной) компетенции учащихся на английском языке.

 Задачи урока.

Образовательные задачи:

1.Расширение словарного запаса

2.Развитие навыков говорения, чтения и письма и аудирования.

2. Тренировка учащихся в умении вести общение на английском языке.

Развивающие задачи:

1. Формирование и развитие коммуникативных умений и навыков (умение пользоваться речью: монологической, диалогической; умение слушать и слышать; умение участвовать в дискуссии);

2. Приобретение навыков самостоятельной работы, работы в команде.

Воспитательные задачи:

1. Воспитание чувства ответственности за свой ответ перед командой

2. Развитие патриотических качеств личности школьника.

3.Воспитания патриотизма и чувства гордости за свою страну.

Оборудование: компьютер; мультимедийный проектор; интерактивная доска;

Оснащение урока:  презентация: "Russia-our Homeland" ,  учебнику английского языка «Английский с удовольствием» для 9 класса; кроссворд ,,My country”,викторина:”Russia”.

                                                          Ход урока:

Приветствие.

T: Good morning, boys and girls! I’m very glad to see you. Sit down please.

P: Good morning, teacher!

 Цели урока, темы

T: Today we are going to have an interesting lesson. Welcome to our game "Russia- our Homeland".

You are going to work in teams. Please choose the captain and the name of your team…As I see that you are ready. Let’s start. We’ve got 5 tasks.

Речевая зарядка.

Каждый член команды рассказывает несколько слов о нашем государстве.

T: We all live in Russia.Will you say anything about it?

PUPIL №1

 The Russian Federation or Russia is the largest country in the world. Russia is washed by twelve seas and three oceans: the Atlantic, the Arctic, the Pacific. The northern and eastern coasts of Russia are washed by the White Sea, the Barents Sea and the Okhotsk Sea..  

 PUPIL 2

The national language of the Russian Federation is Russian.

PUPIL№3

Baikal is the deepest fresh-water lake in the world and its water is the purest on Earth.

PUPIL№4

. There are various types of climate on the territory of Russia. In the south the temperature is usually above zero all year round. The climate of Siberia is continental: summers are hot and dry, winters are very cold.

The capital of the Russian Federation is Moscow, with a population of about 11 million people.

PUPIL№ 6

Now Russia (the Russian Federative Republic) is a Presidential Republic. Today the state symbol of Russia is a three colored banner. It has three horizontal stripes: white, blue and red. The white stripe symbolizes the earth, the blue one stands for the sky, and the red one symbolizes liberty. A new national emblem is a two-headed eagle it is the most ancient symbol of Russia.

 Russia is rich in natural resources. It has deposits of coal, oil, natural gas, iron ore, gold, nickel, etc.

The population of Russia is about 150 million people.

Russia has always played an important role in the world. It is one of the leading Powers.

Учитель дает краткое описание достопримечательностей в России. Если ученик знает название, он поднимает руку и даёт ответ. Каждый правильный ответ приносит 1 балл команде.

T: Let’s remember what words we use to speak about different countries and their inhabitants. The team gets 1 point for each correct answer.

1. Someone who lives in country or state and has rights and responsibilities there. (Citizen)

2. It is an area of land that is controlled by government and president (state)

3. It is the country where you were born and to which you feel strong emotional connection (native land)

4. Someone who loves his country and is willing to defend it. (Patriot)

Учитель предлагает прочесть заранее выученный стих. Один капитан команды на английском языке, другой на русском языке.

We live in Russia                                            

We live in Russia, a beautiful land

It is home for me and you, my friend.

Its town and village are so nice.

Russian people are wise

Russians are at home

In Moscow and Tambov,

And the English are at home

In London and Newcastle

The Italians are at home

In Venice and in Rome

People can be happy

When they are at home

You can go to the East

You can go to the West

Жюри подсчитывает общее количество баллов, и учитель объявляет команду,

победившую в викторине.
