THE BEAR NECESSITIES A woman from Vancouver, Canada, came home from work one day to find herself in the middle of a real-life nursery rhyme! Paula Green is now called “ Goldilocks ” by her friends after finding a hungry bear in her kitchen. The two-year-old brown bear was eating Paula ’ s porridge, so she quickly went into the next room and called for help. Eventually, the baby bear finished his meal and ran off into the forest. Luckily, there was no sign of a daddy or mummy bear!

Урок по теме: «Включайся и настраивайся» в 7 классе.

Цель урока: систематизация и закрепление  полученных умений и навыков по теме «Об этом пишут и говорят».

Задачи:

1.Учебная: активизировать навыки чтения, аудирования, монологической и диалогической речи.

2.Развивающая: развивать коммуникативные навыки и психологические функции, связанные с речевой деятельностью (память, мышление, способность логически мыслить, умение анализировать).

3.Воспитательная: воспитывать уважительное отношение друг к другу, развивать умение сотрудничать.

4.Личностно-ориентированная: способствовать развитию умения сопоставлять факты, развивать творческие навыки, создать условия для развития навыков общения и совместной деятельности.

Тип урока: урок комплексного применения знаний и умений.

Методы  организации учебно- познавательной деятельности:

-словесные (рассуждение, беседа)

-практические( работа с  рисунками,  текстами, карточками, интерактивной доской)

-репродуктивные (воспроизведение полученных знаний)

-частично - поисковые ( установление причинно- следственных связей)

Формы организации учебной деятельности: фронтальная, парная и групповая.

-карточки с заданиями

Структура урока:

1. Организационный момент. (Слайд 1)

  • Hello, boys and girls! Sit down, please.

I’m glad to see you here today. You see, our lesson is a bit unusual – we have guests.  And you`ve got two teachers. My name is Elena Nikolaevna, and I`ll help Ulyana Alexandrovna to conduct today`s lesson. We are glad to see our guests. Children, I hope you will be attentive, you’ll work hard and do your best.

  • Are you ready to start?   ….  Great!

2. Речевая разминка. (Слайд 2-12)

  • Let`s start our lesson with the puzzle. Look at the board. Every brick has a sentence with no end. You should finish the sentence using Past Continuous and the brick will disappear. The aim is to open the pictures under the bricks. Who will start?

Ученики по очереди зачитывают предложения со слайда и заканчивают предложения в интенсивном темпе (технология «Незаконченное предложение»). После того, когда все предложения дополнены, открывается картинка, связанная с темой урока.

  • What can you see in this picture? (There is a radio station studio. There are people who work at the radio station.) (Слайд 12)
  • Do you listen to the radio?
  • How often do you listen to the radio?
  • What are we going to speak about at today`s lesson? (We are going to speak about radio, how it works.)
  • You are quite right!
  • Do you need such information? Why?  (Yes, we do. It may help me to choose a job in the future. / It`s just interesting to know.)
  • How do you think what shall we do at our lesson?( Maybe we`ll read the text / learn new words/listen to the text/ get information from exercises). 

  • Good for you!

  • At today`s lesson you`re divided into 3 groups. It will help you to make your own radio show at the second part of our lesson. And now it`s time to find out some information about university radio stations in Great Britain. Please, open your books on page 43.
  • How can you translate the title of the text? (Turn on and tune in means “Включайся и настраивайся на волну”.)

3. Активизация поискового и изучающего чтения. (Слайд 13)

  • Please, listen to the text and follow the speaker in your books.

(Ученики прослушивают текст, следя за диктором по своим учебникам).

  • Let’s check how you understand the text. As you see, there`s a sheet of paper on your desks. Please, match the words and phrases to their meanings. Work in groups. You`ve got 2 minutes to do the task. (Ученики заполняют раздаточные карточки по лексике из текста).

Are you ready? Let`s check. Please, go to the board one by one and drag the words.  Then read in English. (Выходят к доске и соотносят фразы).

  • Now you are to give the titles from exercise 2 (b) to the paragraphs. There are 5 titles but there are 4 paragraphs only. One title is extra. Be attentive and you`ve got 1 minute to get ready. (Ученики озаглавливают абзацы текста).

Who`s ready? …. Do you agree with him/her? (Слайд 15)

  • I believe now you’re ready to do the final task on the text – to complete the sentences. On your sheets of paper finish the sentences, according to the text. You`ve got 1minute to do the task and get ready to read the sentences aloud.

Please, go to the board, drag the parts of the sentences, read and translate them from English into Russian. (A DJ is a person who presents the show and plays the news. ….)(Слайд 16)

4.  Релаксация. (Слайд 17)

  • And now it`s time to relax. Let`s sing karaoke one of the most popular songs among teenagers Thunder by Imagine Dragons.  Our guests, please, join us, help us, support us!
  • You`re brilliant singers! Let`s go on our lesson.

5. Ролевая  игра. (Слайд 18)

      Answer my questions:

  • What is your favourite radio station? (My favourite radio station is ….)
  • What type of shows do you enjoy listening on the radio? (I like listening to the music and chat shows.)
  • And now imagine that we are in a mini-school radio station. And I`m glad to introduce you the Chief Editor of our radio station - Ulyana Alexandrovna.
  • Hello, boys and girls. I`m very glad to see you! As you know, a radio station needs several people to run smoothly. They are journalists, DJs, producers and technicians. And now you`ve got a great chance to try yourselves in their roles and make live broadcast. As we have already pointed out, you`re divided into 3 groups and each group should make and present your own radio program.
  • The first group will prepare the news programme. Your task is to match the parts of the news correctly and get ready to read them aloud fluently.
  • Another group will be responsible for the advertising block. The New Year is coming and our listeners are looking forward to holidays. Unfortunately, my assistant was in a hurry and mixed up the information about different countries people can go to relax. You should match the information using the photos.
  •  And the third group will present the extract from the radio play Shrek for our little listeners. All the groups have got 5 minutes to do the task. (Ученики готовят свои радиопередачи).
  • Your time is up. Now your classmates will present their radio programmes. Please, listen to them attentively and be ready to answer some questions.
  • Let’s listen to live broadcast.We’ll start with the news programme. (1-ая группа представляет свою новостную программу). (Слайд 19-22)
  • Let’s discuss this programme. Answer my questions, please.

Questions:

  1. What was the news about? (It was about a bear that broke into the house in Canada,  about a dog that saved the life of its owner and there was some sport news)
  2. Which of these news articles interested you? Why? (I was interested in sports news because I’m a real football fan.)
  • Well-done! Go on listening to our radio station. Let’s have some break and listen to the advertisement. The second group, it’s your turn! (Ученики из второй группы представляют свою рекламу на радио). (Слайд 23-27)

Questions:

  1. What are the advertisements about? (They are about travelling)
  2. What places were advertised? (Himalayas, Spain and Egypt were advertised)
  3. Where would you like to go? Why? (I’d like to go to the Himalayas because I like rock climbing and mountain biking. More than that there are fantastic views!)
  • Well done!
  • Now it’s the turn of some entertainment. Let`s listen to the extract from the radio play. The third group, you have the floor! (Ученики из третьей группы представляют свой радио-спектакль). (Слайд 28)
  • That was really amazing! Thank you! Let’s discuss it too.

Questions:

  1. Did you like the play?(Yes, I did. It was exciting.)
  2. Who is your favourite character and why? (My favourite character is Donkey because he is very funny.)
  • Our radio programme is over. Thank you for your work.

8.  Домашнее задание. (Слайд 29)

  • At last open your diaries and write down the hometask. At home you will do exercises on p.44 in writing and get ready for the test.

9.  Рефлексия. (Слайд 30)

  • Let’s sum up the results of our lesson. Look at the board. There are some skills you have improved at the lesson. Choose the drawing that reflects your spirit about each skill.
