Формы организации познавательной деятельности уч-ся: коллективная, индивидуальная, микрогруппы

Метод проведения: урок с использованием информационно-компьютерных технологий

“Приготовление различных блюд”, “Еда и продукты”, “В ресторане”.

Обеспечение урока:

  1. Презентация в Power Point
  2. Раздаточный материал( карточки с наименованиями продуктов, шаблоны меню для ресторана)
  3. Проекты уч-ся( рецепт приготовления любимого блюда)
  4. Карточки с глаголами.

Общеобразовательные цели урока:

  1. Систематизация учебного материала и применение на практике знаний по теме “Приготовление различных блюд”.

Развивающие цели урока:

  1. Развивать навыки подготовленной устной и письменной речи, чтения и аудирования.
  2. Развивать творческие способности уч-ся.
  3. Развитие навыков самостоятельной работы уч-ся  при подготовке рефератов на английском языке.

Воспитательные цели урока:

  1. Воспитывать умение работать в коллективе.
  2. Воспитывать навыки культуры поведения.
  3. Показать значение изучения иностранного языка.

Warm up.

Good morning, my students, dear guests. I am very glad to see you. We’re going to speak about Russian food, meals and dishes using a presentation “Russian Meals”

Recipe  /’resəpi/, template /’tem,pleɪt/ , cuisine /kwɪ’zi:n/, mixture /[‘mɪkstʃə(r)/, dough /dəʊ/, dumpling /’dʌmplɪŋ/, flour /flaʊə(r)/, sour cream /’saʊə(r)/, oats  /əʊts/, buckwheat /’bʌk,wi:t/ ,millet  /’mɪlɪt/, semolina /,semə’li:nə/, yeast /ji:st/.

Usual meals in Russia are breakfast, lunch and dinner. Russian people have

their breakfast at 7 or 8 a.m.,

lunch at 1 or 2 p.m.,

and dinner  at 6 or 7 p.m.

It is difficult to describe the Russians breakfast, dinner and supper. It depends on people’s work, money and opportunities.

A typical Russian breakfast consists of milk, tea, eggs, kasha and sandwiches.

A typical lunch in Russia is comprised of three courses. The real first course is a good plate of soup. Among them are borsch (beetroot soup), shchi (cabbage soup) and solyanka .

For the second course there is meat or fish served with garnish.

The last course is usually very simple - just something to drink like tea, fruit drinks (compote, kissel, mors) or even kvas, served alone or with some cakes.

Among the most popular dishes are pelmeni, russian salad, shchi , kasha, blini.

The most popular drinks in Russia are kvas, kissel, mors, milk, stewed fruit, tea.

Russian cuisine is varied and delicious.

Answer the questions:

What are the usual meals in Russia?

When do Russian people have their breakfast, lunch and dinner?

What does the typical Russian breakfast consist of?

How many courses are there in a typical Russian dinner?

What is there for the first and second courses?

What can you say about percularities of Russian cuisine?

Introduction of the theme

Let’s start our final lesson about food and restaurants.

We need two teams and let’s name them:  Countable and Uncountable.

  Come to my desk one by one and choose the card. After you take the card say as in the example “ I’ve got some/a/an …….. .I’m in  the“ Countable (uncountable)” team. Choose the captain of  your team.

Now we’re ready to start our contest. Let’s go to the café.

The main part of the lesson.

The 1st task.

All of you have the card with the name of a product. Look at the verbs on the walls and use them  to write simple sentences in Present Simple or Continuous. Then read  them out. The team with more true sentences will have a point.

The cards with the verbs are stuck to the walls around the classroom.

The 2d task.

If we’re at a café, we’ll choose a dish we like.

Your project was to write the recipe of your  favourite dish at home. So, each team must choose only four best recipes, read them out  and the second team  must guess the name of the dish. The winner will get one more point.

3. And now the contest for captains.

I have some  cards with the names of the dishes of  Russian cuisine. The task is to guess what dish it is.

The winner has one more point.

8 names of the dishes and 8 cards with the ingredients.

4.All of you have the menu on the board. Look through it, its food, location, its name and prices.

5. Write the review of the café, please.

Write the review, using the example from their homework or from the Student’s book.

Speaking

Let’s check this task .The best review will get the point.

The representative of each  team reads out the response about the café of the contender.

Conclusion

In conclusion I want to tell you the results of our contest. The team “…” proved to be the best ,they scored …  points. Today we’ve spoken  about Russian cuisine. I’m glad you  know a lot about traditional Russian dishes, and I’m sure you enjoy them a lot. If you have English friends you can teach them to cook tasty Russian food. Our lesson is over. Thank you for your work .Good-bye!
