Цели урока:

• развитие коммуникативных навыков учащихся с использованием новых выражений, формирование целостного представления о мире, об общих проблемах, стоящих перед человечеством в XXI веке;
• систематизация и обобщение знания учащихся по теме.

Задачи урока:

Образовательная:

• формирование готовности к осмыслению социокультурных ценностей и культурной жизни народов стран изучаемого языка;
• приобщение к активному участию в диалоге культур
• формировать лексико-грамматические навыки в формате ЕГЭ;

Воспитательная:

• поддерживать дух толерантности, принимая другие точки зрения;
• воспитание активности в решении коммуникативных и познавательно-поисковых задач
• формировать уважительное отношение к природе, бережливости; осознание роли человека во взаимодействии с природой;
• формировать способность осознать экологические проблемы и желание помочь природе;
• поддерживать других и быть к ним благожелательными.

Развивающая:

• способствовать развитию аналитического, критического, латерального мышления, через использования проблемных ситуаций;
• развитие языковых способностей и устойчивого интереса к изучению английского языка
• развивать умение работать в группе

Планируемые результаты урока.

Предметные

• обобщение лексического материала по теме, его углубление и расширение через все виды речевой деятельности;
• приобретение дополнительных знаний о загрязнении водной среды, умение дать советы туристам;
• развитие коммуникативных умений по теме, а именно развитие умения аудирования и чтения с целью извлечения необходимой информации;
• умение поиска необходимой информации в разных источниках.

• развитие коммуникативных УУД через все виды речевой деятельности, в том числе умение планировать речевое и неречевое поведение;
• развитие познавательных УУД, а именно умения извлекать необходимую информацию, сравнивать и анализировать, развитие способностей к логическому изложению, умения работы со словарём и с другими источниками, умения смыслового чтения;

I. Организационный момент:

T: Hello everybody! Glad to see you. I’m your English teacher at the lesson. My name is Olga Vladimirovna. You are quite well, aren’t you?

II. Мотивация:

• OK. Let’s start our lesson. You are at the 10th form now and so you’ve chosen your future. I think you want to be a successful person. Tell me, please, what does it mean to be this one.
• To be educated person
• To have communicative skills
• To know another language

You are quite right because even Federico Fellini said “A different language is a different vision of life” So if you want to be a successful person you must be educated person

III. Основной этап урока.

• You know in our country every year is devoted to special problem: Family Year, Culture year and so on. What problem in this year?
• Ecology year
• You’re quite right and in the screen you can see the emblem of the year. What do you think why our government consider that it is important problem? Because there are a lot of ecological problems in the world and in our country. What ecological problems do you know there are?

1. Словарная работа

- On your desks you can see the first task. Work in pairs, rank the ecological problems with your partner. Put the worst in your opinion on the top. What kind of pollution causes of these problems? (air, water, nature and wildlife)

- Ok. But we have not known the topic of our lesson yet. You see some words are devoted with our theme. Now match them with their meanings.

- Today we will speak about The Great Barrier Reef. Does anybody know about Great Barrier Reef?

Coral reefs are a breeding ground for fish and

other sea creatures.

- Open your books p75 and read the first paragraph only that answering the question.

It is the largest coral reef on the planet. On the north it is almost continuous and it situated only 50 km to Australia coast, while in the south it is divided into the groups of the separate reefs, in some places step on back from the coast on 300 km, it is the most expensive and most fashionable island. 

- Ok, that’s very good. Do you know there is a big problem with the place!

Let’s read another part of the text and we’ll know the problem. But before reading open your copybooks please, write down: the date, classwork, our theme. And now read the text and fill in the gaps with the deriving words. Your answers write in copybooks please.

8. Работа в группах

- Now let’s work in groups by five. Think about a protected area in our country.

Write a short article and present it to the class. Your article should include such information as:

A) Where is it?

B) What lives there?

C) What problems has it got?

D) What can tourists do to help?

- Use the information from the Internet and the articles on your desks.

IV. Рефлексия.

T: So, boys and girls, let’s come to a conclusion of our lesson. You see our tasks from the beginning of the lesson. Have we done our tasks? What the common conclusion of our lesson?  

 The topic of our today's conversation was very serious. There are a lot of problems but, unfortunately, we don’t have enough time to discuss all of them.

V.  Итог урока.

I think our life is very important. We live on the planet and there are a lot of people who think about the future of the planet. Some people take care of animals, others take care of birds, and others are in charge of the forests. And we must be worried about nature too. Together we can save the planet and all of us with it.

 Let’s give some advice to protect our nature. Put them on the fish and stick to the picture.
